Take a Break ~on hiatus~

Part three

"That's alright, are you hungry Lo?" Logan shyly nodded, and Janus smiled a bit. "Okay then little astronaut, let's go get you a snack" Logan smiled behind his plush, following after Janus.

Logan ran after Janus, his foot steps heavy and quick to stay with Janus. Janus chuckled, "Slow down Lo, you'll trip and hurt yourself" Logan huffed.

"M not a little kid..." He muttered, still following after. Janus hummed.

"Your right, I'm sorry Lo, but let's still slow down okay?" Logan nodded, following after but a touch slower now. "What do you want for a snack huh?" Logan thought about it, before giggling.

"Jam?" He said with a hopeful smile. Janus smiled a bit.

"How about toast with jam?" Logan hummed, looking down but nodding. Janus smiled a bit, nodding. "Sit at the table while I make your toast though alright? Do you want something to drink?" Logan nodded, sitting at the table.

"Milk?" He asked politely. Janus nodded, putting a piece of bread in the toaster.

 "Do you need a sippy cup?" Logan whined.

"I'm big kid Jan!" Janus nodded. 

"Alright, alright" He grabbed a plastic cup, pouring half a glass of milk for Logan, giving it to the boy. "There you go" They both jumped when the toaster popped, and Jans quickly grabbed a butter knife and the jam before giving the now toast with jam to Logan. 

"Thank chu" Logan mumbled, taking a bite of his toast. 

"What do you normally do little one?" Logan thought for a minute. 

"Watch shows... read..." He mumbled. Janus nodded. 

"Where are your books?" Logan pointed at his room again.

"The box" He said rubbing his nose to try and get the jam off it. Janus laughed, getting him a napkin, wiping his face. 

"Ill go get you a book, put your dishes in the sink ok?" Logan nodded, getting up to do just that, before going to the couch and siting down, looking over the back of it to wait for Janus. 

"Janny" Logan whined when Janus started to take too long. He whimpered, getting up and looking for Janus. "Janny?"

"Sorry little berry, I was finding a book or two for you" Janus a said lightly, leading Logan back to the couch, sitting down before letting Logan sit by him. "Which do you want to read?" He asked, showing two books.

"That one" Logan said, grabbing one and opening it. 

"Can you read it out loud for me?" Logan grinned, nodding quickly. 

"Hi, I am Abe the service dog" Logan started, grinning. "When I was a puppy, my o-owner.." Logan nodded, deciding that was how to say it, "Told me I would be a service dog for a person who could not see"

"Your very good at reading there Lo" Janus said with a soft smile. Logan giggled, very proud of himself. Logan continued on, stopping and asking about very few words, grinning when he got things right.
