Arise, arise, arise!
Arise, arise I say!
Arise O compatriots
My great call obey.
Our fatherland have we served
With love and strength and faith.
The labour of our heroes past
Is now in vain.
We have lost the heart and might
To serve our nation
Bound in freedom
Peace and unity.
O God of creation!
Our noble cause
Have we lost.
Guide our leaders right.
Help our youths
The truth to know.
For in just and truth
We no longer live.
In love and honesty
Help us to grow.
For great lofty heights
We wish to attain.
To build and maintain
A nation where peace
And justice shall reign.
