" i won't let you go "
soobin and beomgyu sat in silence, waiting for yeonjun to return. an hour passed, they soon became hopeless, worried that he'd never return.
the two would exchange looks every now and then, as if they were mad at each other, but in reality, they were just too worried and upset to start a conversation.
upon their surprise, yeonjun and taehyun hop out of the mirror, panting as they fall to the concrete floor, facing soobin and beomgyu
"TAEHYUN! YEONJUN!!" beomgyu runs up to the two and tackles them with an embrace of hugs
"taehyun.." soobin walks up to him and hugs him, finally glad to be reunited
"why didnt you just wait?" soobin asks yeonjun, upset
"i didn't want to. it's unfair to you how you risk your life to save each of us. i thought i could help and-"
"you should have waited. i understand why but don't go into the mirrors.. any of you." soobin said turning to all of them, as they sat in a circle on the concrete
"why? why couldn't i do it too, soobin? i'm just as functioning" yeonjun says, as soobin's eyebrows furrow as his eyes fall upon yeonjuns clothing, the black smoke of the fire, and burning lines among his clothes.
"what is this?" soobin said, as he turns to taehyun who has more on his clothing and body
yeonjun stayed silent, in fear of soobin's response if he told him i had to rescue taehyun from the fire that almost killed us both
"yeonjun, tell me." soobin said, waiting for an answer
"taehyun was in a fire. i helped him out" yeonjun said, mumbling the last sentence
"OH MY GOD ARE YOU TWO ALRIGHT?" soobin and beomgyu ask while rushing to their sides in fear
while soobin and yeonjun argued about why he would go into the mirror after being told not to
beomgyu grew irritated from the constant fights and stood quietly next to the last mirror as the two began to argue and fight with one another about absolutely anything
"AFTER I SAID NO?"
"WHAT IF I DONT WANT TO LISTEN TO YOU" yeonjun shouted back, over and over as the two constantly bickered.
taehyun sat in a corner with his face in his knees and ears covered, he grew frustrated with the constant fights
"please just stop fighting" he'd whisper loud enough for everybody to hear, although his voice was rather quiet.
beomgyu had finally had enough. he was done with the fights about the mirror. he was done with the secrets.
he stood near the mirror, not catching anybody's attention
he closed his eyes and took a deep breath and finally entered the last mirror,
"dont fall into the mirror"
catching the other three's attention. they all turned to the mirror, as taehyun stood up and stood next to yeonjun
"NO!" soobin ran to the mirror, pounding the glass over and over again, tears falling onto the mirror, seeing his worn out and depressing state he was in
"SOOBIN STOP IT!" taehyun runs over to the mirror near soobin, as soobin continued to pound his fist to it, not even realizing his action
his tears glistened on the mirror, forming a wet puddle of tears. his fingerprints were left onto the glass, as he continued to pound, as if it would bring beomgyu out of the mirror he entered.
"SOOBIN STOP YOURE GOING TO-" but before yeonjun could finish his sentence, glass shards fly everywhere into the sky, causing taehyun and soobin to back away with fear in their eyes, trembling.
blood traced their faces and hands, as it dripped to the concrete floor. tears fell down all of their faces, as yeonjun stood on the other side of soobin, purely shocked.
the shards of glass flew everywhere and were scattered all across the floor, as the others didn't know what to do. the boys were covered in blood from the shards that had flew and scraped them.
the two boys, beomgyu and the one last person in the mirror...
will be unable to escape.
