Piper is very gossipy about other people but fairly defensive of Jason.
Example:
She told Jason about how Nico had a crush on Annabeth (which turned out to be false) and made fun of him for being "weird".
However, she gets defensive about Jason or really any other member of The Seven. It's not right, because as Jason said in the House of Hades, you should always keep a good relationship with team members, and even though she didn't outright say that stuff to Nico, it might be even worse to gossip about it.
