They smiled at each other and it suddenly started to rain. Both of them took their hands back and started to walk towards the car when suddenly Ragini slipped but Laksh held her on time. Both got lost in a deep eyelock which was broken by a sudden click sound. They both recomposed and turned towards the sound and were shocked to see the sight in front of them.
Ragini was shocked to see a stranger in front of them clicking their picture , before she could give him a piece of his mind Laksh ran towards that person and hit him on his head
Laksh (whispering): Omi!!!!!! you fool couldn't keep your phone on silent. Now quickly think of a reason. She shouldn't know that you've been clicking our pictures throughout (aloud) Who are you and what were you clicking. Give me your phone
Saying this he snatched the phone from Omi and saw it for sometime and then returned it by saying: I am extremely sorry for the misunderstanding sir. I thought you were clicking our pictures so I felt a little offended. Please don't mind sir.
Omi was glaring hard at Laksh: No problem sir. But next time please check before you react. Saying this he turned around and without Ragini's knowledge stamped Laksh's foot and left grumping and muttering curses.
Laksh went towards Ragini who was near the car. Since it was drizzling they weren't very wet and hence they immediately sat in the car and Laksh drove towards baadi.
Laksh dropped Ragini at baadi and made sure she reached home before he headed towards Maheshwari mansion.
Ragini tiptoed into the room but it was useless as Swara was waiting for her and was ready to pounce on her with all sorts of questions. Before Swara could utter a word, Ragini shut her mouth.
Ragini: I know you have lots of questions to ask but please do wait. Let me change my clothes at least. I'm wet and feeling extremely uncomfortable so just give me two minutes. Saying this Ragini went in to take a shower and came back after changing herself into dry nightwear. She then told Swara everything that happened and the sisters chatted for sometime and finally thought of going to sleep
Ragini (Mind thought): I don't know what this day meant to you but this was the best day of my life Laksh. Thank you so much for these moments. I would treasure it throughout my life
Swara (Mind thought): This is just the beginning Ragini. Your relationship started as friendship but ultimately you'd fall into Lakshya's arms as his wife and I would make sure that I would make it possible by hook or by crook.
With these thoughts both the sisters drifted to sleep happily.
On the other hand Laksh reached Maheshwari mansion through the window and laid down on his bed after comfortably changing his clothes. He forgot to lock his door. He was about to do it when his phone buzzed with Omi's message. He stood leaning on the door, and watched each and every photo.
Unaware to him Sanskaar was also watching all the photos. He thought that in his revenge mind he tried to spoil Lucky's life and his buddy's life, but now he would make them one. He smiled looking at his brother and went to his room and slept with a satisfactory smile on his face.
On the other hand Laksh watched each picture keenly. He wanted to treasure those moments in his heart forever. Thinking about the night he slept with content.
Next morning Ragini woke up early and went to do all the chores and to her utmost surprise she saw everything clean and tidy. She went to the pooja room to arrange everything but again everything was perfectly done. She went to the kitchen to cook breakfast. Surprisingly breakfast was done along with lunch according to each person's taste and someone had tidied the kitchen as well. Ragini was wondering who had done everything , just then Dadi entered the kitchen.
Dadi: Swara did all the chores. She told that you were up all night preparing for a job so she thought of helping you by doing the chores.
Ragini: But what about her interview dadi maa?
Dadi: That and all I don't know chori you ask her.
Ragini knew dadi well. She knew that Swara unknowingly had started to make way through Dadi's heart. But she had more things to worry about. So she rushed upstairs and saw Swara sleeping peacefully. She thought not to disturb her and went near her table to prepare for her interview and to her surprise all the necessary documents were ready on the table. On the side it had a sticky note which read.
Yesterday was a long day for you. So I thought of giving you rest today. So I woke up at four in the morning and did all the chores for you. And since I know you,you would have prepared yourself quite well, I just arranged everything. So check it out once and don't worry about me. While you were gone I did my files and prepared for the interview yesterday. So if everything is alright please do come and sleep with me. I wanna cuddle you my munchkin.

Ragini was too happy to react. Just a few days before she thought that she was seeping into a world of pain and misery. But now these days changed her life. Her colourless life was turning to be more colourful and bright. She now has such a caring and understanding sister like Swara , a guide and buddy like Sanskaar and a true friend who was the love of her life- Laksh. She didn't want anything more and she couldn't ask for anything more. She thanked God for what she has today and she went near Swara, caressed her hair, laid beside her and hugged her and immediately dozed off.
Swara unconsciously hugged her back and both of them slept for sometime.
Dadi saw all of this and had tears in her eyes: I never thought Swara would be so caring about my Laado. I thought she would snatch Lakshya from her and let her rot in her miseries. But this is something different. I really wish I had accepted Sharmishtha before because my Laado would have gotten all this happiness way before. Oh khatu shyam ji please keep this relationship away from all evil eyes.
Laksh had the best sleep of his life. Though it was a short one he felt peace. He looked around to see the sky orange and the sun rising. This might literally be the first time that he was even watching a sunrise. He felt some sort of internal peace in him. There was a fresh energy flowing in him. The gentle breeze ruffled his messy hair. He felt content. And then he remembered the moment he broke down and the way Ragini ruffled his hair. He remembered that Ragini was an early bird so he decided to call her. But then he also realised that dadi would be around her so he thought of texting her.
Laksh's message: Hey Ragini, good morning. Shocked right didn't expect Lucky to awake so soon. Trust me I'm also as shocked as you would be when you read the text. I woke up feeling relaxed. Though the sleep was short, It was the best one I had in days. I was also able to see the sunrise. It was beautiful. I couldn't help but think about yesterday. It was really the best day for me. Reply back babe. My morning would be the best once I get your text. Happy morning my cute bundle of joy.
PS: get used to all the harmless flirting coz now you are friends with Lucky :p
He waited for a few minutes but he did not get any response (poor Lucky did not know about her sleeping xD). He thought she would be busy with household chores, kept his phone aside and went to freshen up. After getting ready he came back and checked his phone but found no reply. He sighed and put his phone inside his pocket and tied his wristband. While doing so he remembered his first encounter with Ragini at the academy and smiled thinking about her reactions. Shaking his head in disbelief, he went down.
There was heavy chaos in the Maheshwari mansion. When AP and Sujatha were doing pooja early in the morning, they saw Laksh descending downstairs. They thought that he might be back from some party and hence sighed deeply, but to their surprise he came to the mandir and stood beside them indicating that he had woken up early in the morning. In this shock Sujatha dropped the bell which she was ringing and her eyes were wide open in bewilderment. Today definitely the sun had risen from the West , so only she is seeing all such things. Laksh smiled at his chachi and bent down to collect the bell and gave it to her. When he stood up he heard a gasp. He turned to see Pari holding her mouth in shock and Adarsh, RP, DP and Sanskaar having their eyes wide open. Laksh shaked his hand with disbelief and turned around and continued to pray. After the pooja everyone was going to the dining room when suddenly Sanskaar felt a lump forming in his throat. He couldn't deny the fact that he hated them for a very long time and it wasn't going to fade away easily and also the guilt inside him for mistrusting his family had bottled up. He couldn't do anything about it other than face the truth. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to find Laksh and his little brother assured him through his eyes that everything would be alright. Sanskaar nodded and went to the dining room with him. They sat side by side and the breakfast went on peacefully. Sanskaar thought it would be harder to accept the truth but with his Lucky beside him, he knew that it would eventually happen, sooner or later.
After breakfast, DP announced something that shocked everyone and Lakshya literally felt the ground beneath him being slided away.
Heyyyyyyyy guys extremely sorry for this delay but due to my exams I'm unable to post regularly.... I might not post the next part until August.....So sorry you guys.....but once the exams are done I'd definitely update more regularly
