Carina Andy Black's life was not what her parents wanted.

Well, some of it.
She did grow up with her Aunt Narcissa and she did treat Carina as her own but as her mother has put it, she did let Lucius ruin her. She grew up as an older, role model sister to Draco Malfoy.
She was brought into the life of blood-purity and house prejudices. She was brought into the life of darkness and death eaters and dark marks.
She was coddled by most of the death eaters because of her parents but nonetheless, she was in that life.
Carina thought she disappointed her parents, not putting up enough resistance to this lifestyle but they thought quite the opposite being proud of how far she had made it and how strong she was.
They knew the life and they were disappointed by how much their lives were similar much to their dismay.
She had found love in a fellow Slytherin, Daphne Greengrass, and they were a team just like her parents.
She was forced to help Draco on the cabinet and get the dark mark but Lacey and Regulus were proud of their daughter and they couldn't wait for the day they could get to tell her.
