Hi everyone :)

This book will certainly have the same vibe as metanoia (if you haven't read it, you should)
It's very emotional so please bare with it

Also, Jeongguk is a poet in this so please excuse my bad attempts at making poetry ?? Haha

Enjoy and sorry for any mistakes

Warning: bad poetry ahead :') I cant write poems

Also!! The song above is a huge inspiration for me. It's a song in my native language but I added a translated version for you :) however, if you like it and the meaning behind it please go support the original artist

"i was drowning but you took my hand and saved me"

"and i stared but i could never reach the shore"

"so you took my hand and loved me with your greyscale warmth"

you were my beginning
and i  seemed to be your end
but our roads were always meant
to collide

and yet, here we are
after i realized

i was aching for more
without realizing that was what
you were

the sky above me
was blue
but no matter how much i stared
it could never compare to
the sight of
you

your toneless warmth
your monochromatic
smile

i wanted to hold
your hand
but i could never reach
under the mask
you put up
everyday

was it a desert
the road between us
or was it an endless ocean
in which we drowned

was it a dried out land
with lifeless souls
and empty eyes

or was it a sea
cold and yet
so warm

were you real
or just a creation
of my so unstable
mind

was i yours
like you were mine

i wondered

if the sky we adored
was in fact the sea
and we've been drowning
all along
never reaching the shore

if the sunset
we admired
was just a late
arrival
of the warm rays that
made your skin
look perfectly
imperfect

if the air
you took in
with a smile
made your soul
burn
or dry out

if the warmth
you showed me
was real
or not

but you helped me realize that
monochromatic souls
are so
just not perfect

you took my hand and
dragged me
into the world i thought
i knew
saved me

and then you showed me
how a monochromatic soul
loved

and you filled me
with your
greyscale hues

to the point that
any other shades

red or blue
crimson or azure

did not
satisfy me anymore

because all i knew
after meeting you
was the love
of your greyscale warmth
