It's another Hogsmeade trip, the last before Christmas. I figure now might be a good time to get a gift for Maddie. I've been so stressed out lately I've forgotten to buy her anything. I'm still so conflicted about Sirius and what he told me. My mind has just been racing for weeks now.

I spend a few hours going into various stores searching for presents. When I come out of Tomes and Scrolls, I spot Ron, Maddie, and Hermione sitting on a bench.

"What are you lot doing just sitting around?" I question.

"What are you doing here, Mum?" Maddie asks.

I hold up a bag. "Just some Christmas shopping."

"What did you get for me?" Maddie asks.

I chuckle. "Why would I tell you and ruin the surprise?"

"Ron, look!" Hermione shouts.

Suddenly her, Maddie, and Ron are up and running. I see them chasing after footprints in the snow. They go right through a group of caroling wizards knocking them down.

Hermione pushes through. "Sorry. Excuse me, excuse me."

"Merry Christmas," Ron offers.

I sigh as I follow after them. I stop when I see Harry sitting on a rock and Maddie kneeling in front of him.

"Harry, what happened?" Madeline asks.

"He was their friend... and he betrayed them. He was their friend! I hope he finds me. Because when he does, I'm gonna be ready! When he does, I'm gonna kill him!" Harry warns.

Maddie, Ron, and Hermione all look to me. "It's alright. I'll talk to him. You three can head back."

Maddie looks at me for a moment before nodding. Hermione looks at Harry once more before heading off with Ron. I sit down on the rock next to Harry.

"If I remember correctly, you're not allowed on Hogsmeade trips," I state. Harry just looks at me. "How did you get here? Invisibility cloak I can see. Maybe the Marauder's Map by chance?"

"You know about the Marauder's Map?" Harry asks.

I smile. "I knew the boys who made it."

"Really?" Harry asks in astonishment.

I nod my head. "Really. Who did you get it from anyways?"

"Fred and George," Harry tells me. "Ron was pretty upset, no one told him about it."

"He'll get over it." I laugh lightly before becoming serious. "Are you alright Harry?"

Harry shakes his head. "Not really."

I take a deep breath. "I know it's hard. But you can't let hatred blind you, Harry. You don't know everything."

Harry stands up. "I should start heading back. It'll be dark soon."

I sigh as I stand up. I wait for Harry to leave before I apparate into the Shrieking Shack. Sirius is lying on a very dusty couch.

"How nice of you to drop in for a visit, Love. It's been what a month?" Sirius remarks.

I roll my eyes. "I dropped in food two days ago." I shake my head. "You know I can't get caught."

"I know, Love," Sirius says.

"I have to tell you something," I confess.

Sirius looks at me concerned. "What is it?"

"Harry knows you're his godfather and he thinks you're the reason his parents are dead," I inform him. Sirius' face drops. "I'm sorry. I didn't tell him, but somehow he found out."
