Thank you for reading this. I really hope it left an impact on you.

I didn't mean to create a story about disability with such a dark ending, so I apologise to those personally affected by events in this story who may have been upset. The reason I wrote this is because I have been trying to raise awareness on the dangers of flashing lights. I know that people only react when it's too late, so perhaps by showing a fictional girl suffer the consequences of a seizure caused by strobe lighting, then perhaps people may become more cautious of their own personal use of lighting.

When I set out writing this, I never thought it would have such an impact on me. I found myself crying as I wrote, which is how I knew I needed to publish this. I have never written anything as deeply personal as this, and if anyone who knows me well somehow ends up reading this, then they might recognise some of Holly's experiences as my own.

If you liked this, please vote and share the story as much as you can. I know it's not the best writing in the world (it did only take 3 hours) but perhaps you might have noticed in this that epilepsy doesn't open many doors in the job market, so I really need as much career support as you guys can give!

Well, thank you for reading my first ever published story(!) and stay safe!
