  Ever since I started writing, I've been writing about dozens of different people and their stories. But never did I think about writing about myself, my own story.

After all, what can be so special about the life of a writer? What can a writer do that would be as, if not more, exhilarating as fighting in a magical duel or saving a damsel in distress? I know what you must be thinking. There's no way that in this normal, ordinary world such interesting things can happen. Let alone happen to someone who's sitting around writing stories all day for a living.

If you would've asked me about this when I began my writing career, I would've gladly agreed with you, but now I know better. Everyone's got their own story, it's just a matter of whether it gets told or not.

As for my story? It all started with a new typewriter...
