Today was my first day of college and I was scared. I'm a first year at Korea National University of Arts. Also known as one of the top arts schools in South Korea. Although I never expected to apply for the acting department, it kind of just happened when I decided one day.
As a student in high school, I was never popular. Although I did have a couple friends they never stayed because of how quiet I was. I never dated anyone either because no one liked how shy I was. That's why everyone was surprised when I said I was applying for an acting major in college. I wanted to change. I wanted to show everyone what I was capable of doing.
When I told my parents I wanted to act, they were confused at first since I had always wanted to become a doctor or any of those other jobs kids would "say" they would become.
