The Strip

I woke up the next morning feeling extremely refreshed and rejuvenated from working so much the past day, Manny was right I am slaving in my office; I'm just trying to find out everything I can about Lowe to make sure I'm making the best decision by not going back.

*RING RING* Kielah was calling

"Hellurrrrrr" I said happily

"Nia! WE FUCKING MISS YOU!"

"I know I have to visit you guys soon, I was thinking about asking Chi Chi if I could have company but I don't think I'm that good with him yet to ask him something like that he might think ima set his son up or something" I said rolling my eyes

"Girl it's okay we're just happy to hear from you and we understand why you don't wanna come back, thats extremely scary and unpredictable so take as much time as you need just please give us a daily update and we promise your secret is safe with us"

"I love you guys and thank you so much I will definitely keep in touch! You guys are my only outlet outside of this mansion haha" we laughed and said our goodbyes.

*knock knock*

"yes?"

"It's me" Manny said creeping in slowly

"Hey" I said welcomingly

"Hey so how do you feel about going to the strip today?"

Th strip..meaning out in public together with me alleged kidnapper what if Lowe put out a missing person and they see me, "Nia?' Manny said looking at me drift off in thought

"ummm yea do you think it's safe?"

"Yea don't worry we're safe, get dressed let's go"

I took about a hour to get ready, showered, did my hair in a curly style and put on a black tube dress from skims with some black platform heels

I scurried downstairs and looked around for Manny. The maids greeted me as if I was the wife of the house, I treat them with the same respect being that the maids at Lowes house literally tried killed me

"Ready?" Manny said from the front door

"Oh yea" we walk out to the car and drive off in his silver infinite

7pm the strip

Manny parked underneath the cosmopolitan hotel....he didn't pay he just stopped in front of the hotel and we got out, he threw his keys to a guy and he nodded

My life can't become more of a movie..

We started our walk down the strip, this was my first time in Vegas

Manny reached for man hand and guided me up to chick fil a, "Really Manny? we can't eat something more fancy?"

"Oh you move with a rich man and now all you can eat is gold?" He said sarcastically with a smirk on his face

"Hey be calm" I said laughing

"I love chick fil a, I always eat super fancy I want casual"

"Well im the opposite so you eat here and im getting Gordan Ramseys food"

"Fine Hormosa, that works for me. We can eat at the park not to far from here"

There's a park somewhere out here..."okay"

We both got our food and headed towards a beautiful park that had a view of a huge waterfall

"Beautiful isn't it?"

"Manny please stop saying that"

"But isn't it...Beautiful?"

"Yes Manny damn" I laughed

He smirked at me and leaned across the table, the moon was shinning on me as he created a half shadow on my face, "Nia your so...pretty"

"You tried not to say beautiful" we laughed and he nodded

"Yes, pretty and so kind hearted I though by now you would have left and went back to him already...he has that affect on women, but you didn't you stayed and looked at the bigger picture unlike..."

"Emily" I finished

"Yes" He said with a hint of sadness, "You loved her?"

"Yes, But she was so brainwashed I couldn't save her"

"Why fall for her?"

"I just did...it hurt me to know she was false but i'm glad you came along and i'm not saying I love you or anything because we barely know each other but I do find interest and I hope one day we can get to know each other outside of work"

wow....Lowe said he loved me within 2 weeks and Manny said it'll take time because he really wants to get to know me, what a difference

"We will see but for now let's learn to trust each other with work and see how things go from there, yea?"

"As long as your happy i'm happy"

We smiled and finished up our food and watched the fountain show
