👭
What a day we had
Holding hands,
Your beautiful laugh,
We bought gifts for each other,
Riding this rollercoaster called loveAnd then in the moment
When I made a mess of myself
With the ice cream you bought
Your smile was perfect
I'd do it again
I'd be an idiot just to see
That it made you happyAnd when we were waiting
For those two extra wheels
To arrive at the meeting spot
As we sat in the back seat
I felt so at peace
So comfortable with youAs we were going home
Laughing and joking
I made up my mind
I was going to do that one little thing
To end the day rightBut when you dropped me off
Someone couldn't take a hint
A cockblock to a lip lock
Called my stupid, overbearing mother
Stood there as if she
Was central to the plotI wish I could have done it
Then it would be all right
And the day would have been perfect
With a kiss good night👭
