lavender prewet had already proved herself to her capitol and the districts. She did this by winning the 68th hunger games. As soon as Honor Sapphire pulled out her name the capitol had fallen in love with her story. Just three years ago Ares Prewitt at just 15 was reaped into the 65th hunger games but did not earn the victory he so much deserved, instead he was betrayed by his ally and sent off to die. Lavender had made the capitol fall in love with her by her charming smile and innocent remarks but she showed them just how much of a force she is to be reckoned with, joining forces and turning tributes onto tributes Lavender was almost controlling her games but that didn't mean she didn't care for the fallen and non-fallen tributes.
