-Living organisms can be placed into five groups( animals, plants, bacteria, fungi and protocista)
-animals and plants are multicellular organisms (made of billions of cells working together)
- bacteria fungi prokaryotes micro organisms (made of one or few cells)
- viruses are not defined as living organisms because they do not have the standard components of a cell- acellular and cannot perform Mrs gren (Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion and Nutrition) without a host
-all living organisms are made from cell (multicellular= millions, microorganisms=one/few) all cells have four properties= DNA, ribosomes, cytoplasm and cell membrane.
