We made it out the maze and back into the normal world the city lights bright and beautiful the cold summer breeze in the air overall it was amazing to be out the Glade
I do miss it since it was three years of my life in there but I've got friends and even people I consider family I mean I even got a fiancé from it to remember the things we did together,
let me tell you what the others are doing now
Well Thomas and Teresa got together and adopted Chuck and took him into their care
Minho got a job at the local high school and became the Gym teacher
Gally got a major job in the construction business down town and is now the city's best builder
Frypan opened up a restaurant and called it the Glade's restaurant And I was lucky enough to get a job there as the second head chef after Fry of course
And Newt
after we escaped the maze his leg got really bad again from all the running and fighting against the grievers and especially jumping down the griever hole, he couldn't walk as well as he used to so he stays at home but he does work he's a writer he writes different books online on the computer even though it's not the best job In the world it still pays the rent and he enjoys it that all that matters
I stood with my earphones in cleaning the tables the restaurant just closed and Frypan and I are just cleaning it up like we do every night i feel a light tap on my shoulder
I turn around and see Newt I take out my earphones and hug him tightly he hugs me back kissing my head
"Hey! What are you doing here?"My voice muffled because my face is against his neck
"I wanted to surprise you and walk you home"He told me as I pulled away from him his arms now wrapped around my waist
"Well I love this surprise and I would happily let you walk me home"He smiles kissing my forehead
"Let me just get my things and we can go"He nods pulling away from my body I pick up the cleaning stuff and put under the counter
"Yo Fry that's me off I'll see you later!"I shout into the kitchen taking my jacket off the hook
"Okay! See you tomorrow Y/n"He shouts back I put my jacket on and walk back to Newt
"You ready to go?"He asked holding out his arm for me to hold I link our arms together
"Yep lets go Newtie"He playfully roll his eyes and opens the door for me "What a gentleman"He chuckles "I try my best"

We walk down the cold streets the lamp posts shining down onto us as we walk past them
"There's something I need to tell you"I told him griping onto his arm "What is it? You look uncomfortable"
How could I tell him? This is a really big deal and will change our lives forever He stops us and puts his hands on my cheeks making me look at him he rubs his thumb along my cheek
"You know you can tell me anything right? No matter what it is I won't be mad"he's so sweet and kind, after I tell him this I'm not sure that he will be so sweet I sigh looking into his puppy brown eyes
"Newt I-"
"Wait is this a break up? Because if it is then please don't leave me,what ever I did to make you feel like I made you then I'm so sorr-"I put my finger up to his mouth hushing him
"No I'm not breaking up with you"He sighs in relief
"Oh thank god,I was about to have a miner heart attack if it was"I lightly chuckle shaking my head
"Newt I want you to know what ever your reaction is and what ever you decide to do after this, is totally fine and I'll be happy with your decision whatever that might be"He slowly nods not sure where I'm going with this I take a deep breath
"Newt I'm with Child...your child"His mouth opens his eyes widen and he looks dazed I wait a few minutes but his face doesn't change
"Uhm Newt please say something your starting to freak me out"His eyes slowly look into mine and his lips curl up into a massive smile
"I'm going to be a Father!"He picks me up and spins me around he repeats his sentence
"Wow!"He mumbles (Like In the gif) before setting me back down his forehead now against mine and his deep brown eyes looking into my Y/e/c ones
"This is the best day of my life even though most days are good days and some days are dull but every day that I get to see you and be with you it's always a good day"I giggle
"Wait half of that didn't make any sense... okay let me change that you are my favourite thing about my days..."I frown a little bit confused
"Okay now I'm just ruining the moment I Love you and the little one inside your tummy I want to be there for you and the baby I want to be the best Father and the best fiancé I can't be"
"Well I think you will be a amazing father Newt I just know it"He smiles leaning down and kissing me
