Newts POV
I've always liked Y/n I mean how could you know she's the definition of an Angel I've been trying for the past two years to ask Y/n on a date with me but she's never agreed
I don't know why the reason is so I continue to ask and today is the day she will finally agree we'll I hope anyway
I walk up to the med jack hut and look for Y/n I 'accidentally' hurt my leg while gardening so this is why I'm here...again
I sat down on one of the beds and waited for Y/n to come in she finally did wiping her hands on a white towel
"Oh hey Newt what's up?"she asked putting the towel onto the table next to the bed
"I sorta hurt my leg"She clearly could tell I was lying because she asked "Why are you really here Newt?"
"We'll Uh I was wondering if-"
"Oh my gosh! I should've known! You've been asking all day, How many times do I have to tell your shucking dumb arse that I don't want to go on a date with you! Okay why can't you just listen to me! No means No! Now get out!"She shouted rage in her eyes she pointed towards the door to lead into the glade
"Y/n I'm s-"I began
"GO! GET OUTTA HERE!"she yelled I sigh sadly and walk out the hut she's right why didn't I listen? Obviously she doesn't like me so I have to except that
Y/n POV
Newt walked out the hut with a sad look on his face
That's all I could think about all night how sad I made someone feel especially one of my friends
Its a really rainy day today so no one could do they're jobs except for cooks of course but everyone else was just under the shelters doing their own thing
Newt was standing against one of the poles out side his hut that was under a shelter so he was still dry he still had a sad look on his face I could feel the guilt rising in me I walk over to him and look at him with my arms crossed
"One date"I said he looked at me with a slight surprised impression not realising i was there
"Wha-"I interrupted and said "One date and you'll stop"he stood up straighter with a slight smile
"Wait really?"he asked not quite believing what I just said
"One change thats all you've got one chance, take it or leave it"I said sternly Newt had a big grin on his face "Ye-yes of course I'll take it!"He he said joy washing through him
"Tomorrow at eight,go to my hut and don't be late or I don't do it"I said before walking away leaving a very happy Newt
Newts POV I watch as Y/n walks away from me I had the biggest smile on my face
"I'm going on a date with Y/n"I whispered still not believing this happened
"I'm going on a date with Y/n!"I shouted happily practically jumping up and down finally I'm going on a date with someone I've been in love with for two years
Y/n who clearly wasn't completely away yet shouted "And take that goofy smile off your face"That made me even more happy
