I froze as I saw who was at the door.

"Happy birthday!" They yelled with massive smiles on their faces.

"Nicola? Ruth? What're you doing here?" I asked, still shocked to see my cousins that I hadn't seen in ages.

"We wanted to come see you and wish you a happy birthday!" Ruth exclaimed, pulling me into a bone crushing hug. My grin widened as she handed me a present. "For you."

"Thanks Ruth."

"What about me?" Nicola held her arms open with an expectant look. I giggled and gave her a hug as well. She pulled away, and gave me yet another present. "You're massive." She commented as she examined by belly.

"Nicola!" Ruth hissed, giving her a wide eyed look. The two of them were like twins. They could just communicate with their eyes if they wanted to.

I shook my head. "It's alright, really."

"How far along are you?" Ruth asked me, not even realizing that there were five boys waiting in the living room.

"About six months." I replied, casually walking into the living room so we could all hang out.

"Hey!" The boys chorused.

"Hi boys. Nice to see you!" Ruth smiled, as did Nicola.

Liam got up to greet his older sisters and gave them each a slice of cake once they had sat down.

"I can't believe you two came!" I exclaimed.

"We've been asking Liam when the right time to visit would be, and it turned out that time was your birthday." Nicola explained.

"Oh my god whose dog is that?" Ruth shrieked with joy at the sight of Alfie sleeping on his little doggie bed we'd bought for him.

I chuckled, looking at Zayn. "He belongs to Zayn and I."

"Aww, he's precious." She smiled, but secretly wiggled her eyebrows at me just like Danielle and Eleanor.

As I stretched my legs out on the couch I'd taken over, the baby was kicking like crazy. At first it was amazing and heart-warming, but as it happened more often, I was growing really tired of the discomfort it had caused me. I let out a groan as I tried to get comfy. As soon as he heard that, Zayn's figure flashed from the other side of the room to me.

"Are you alright?" The concern in his voice almost made me forget about how tired I was.

"Uh yeah, he's just kicking a lot in there."

"Do you need anything?" He asked, earning everybody's attention. Suddenly the room was filled with a deafening silence as I felt all eyes on me.

I shook my head. "Thanks though."

"No worries babe." He smiled, brushing the stray hairs out of my face. I felt myself blush a cherry red, my mind flooded with words I'd love to say to him.

But I stayed silent. I had to.

"Thank you so much for coming to see me." I told my two incredibly sweet cousins.

"You're very welcome. Keep in touch." Nicola replied as the two walked out to the car they'd driven. The late hour haunted my mind as I tried to keep my eyes open. The baby had calmed down as the night went on, but I was knackered.

"We'll be back to see you soon. Love you!" Ruth called out to me.

"Love you too! Bye!" I waved at them as they drove off, and let out a sigh. Those two were something else.

A/n: Extremely short chapter, but I updated right? I just want to start moving on to when they go on tour, because this is going to be a long story and I'm not even close to the good part!
