Eve's POV

The day before our trip, I was still a bit nervous about meeting Zayn's family and staying in their house. From what I'd heard, they were all lovely people, but there was always that chance that we wouldn't get on.

As I packed Aiden's bag, I went through the list in my head.

Socks, check.

Diapers, check.

Shoes, check.

Onesies, check.

Trousers, check.

Shirts, check.

Coat, check.

Jumpers, check.

Hats, check.

Toys, check.

Changing materials, check.

Bottles, check.

Stroller, check.

Zayn had already packed, so he and the boys were keeping Aiden busy while I prepared for tomorrow.

The drive was going to be quite long since Bradford was pretty far up north, and I had a feeling it would be torturous. I mean come on. A baby who is always unpredictable, a long car ride, the possibility of people following us.

The only one who would probably be able to keep it together is Zayn.

Diaper bag, check.

Aiden's blankie, check.

Baby lullaby Cd for the car, check. Zayn was going to love that one for sure, note the sarcasm.

My bag had been packed and triple checked yesterday, and I think the only reason I was still checking on Aiden's things was to keep my mind off of my nerves.

For such a little guy, Aiden sure had a lot of stuff we'd have to lug around for him. I guess that's one of the many conditions that comes with being a mum. It's all worth it, as long as I have my little bundle of sunshine with me every day.

Binky, check.

Extra binkies since we always lose them, check.

Covering blanket for nursing, check.

Breast pump, check.

Aiden's favorite book, check.

My checklist checking was interrupted by a light knock on the door, followed by much louder and aggressive ones.

"Eve!" I immediately recognized the frantic voice as Eleanor.

"El, I'm sure she already heard you knock." I heard Dani say.

"Excuse me for just wanting to make sure." She snapped back. "Eve, open up!"

Crossing the room quickly and opening the door, I was greeted by two of my friends, one light skinned brunette who looked like a model as usual, with a very crazy look in her eye. And one tan skinned now blonde haired beauty who seemed a bit excited but a lot less mental than El.

"What happened?" I asked.

My question was blatantly ignored as the two of them rushed into my room and shut the door behind them.

"Seriously, what's happened?"

The two girls sat down on the bed and pulled me with them so we were all facing each other. The urgency was not only killing me with suspense but scaring me. What the hell was going on?
