A Year or Two after the previous chapter.
(Y/N) walked, with his two daughters by his sides, to the park. (Y/N) was 16 years old, fast approaching 17 as his birthday was only one month away.
Betty was out of the country, doing some... well paying work.
Frisk turned to her father asking a question with an adorable look on her face.
Frisk: "Papa, where's mama?" She asked.
(Y/N): "You see Frisk, mama's gone out of the country for a while, she won't be back for a month." He explained as they neared the park.
Amber started running on her short legs to reach the park, she made it inside of the grassy area and led down, hoping some of the stray dogs would come and play with her. (Y/N) and Frisk just lingered back a bit still talking.
Frisk: "Why is mama not here?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.
(Y/N): "Mama's gone doing a job, so we can have money." He responded, picking up Frisk and speeding up to the park.
Frisk: "What is mama's job?" She continued her questions.
(Y/N) sighed at the constant stream of questions, one after the other and never ending. He placed Frisk down onto the grass to let her run around.
(Y/N): "This is the last question I'm going to answer, 'kay?" Frisk nodded. "Mama's out doing some assassination work." He said, knowing that Frisk didn't know what Assassination meant.
Frisk: "Okay!" She said before running up to random dogs and petting them.
(Y/N) walked over to a tree and led down under the shade... funny thing really, this tree is the exact same tree (Y/N) and Betty nearly kissed under for the first time. Only difference this time, he's a dad, and he's got nothing to fear. The tree is much larger than it was before, strange how time changes things. Take people for example, when you're young, you have a spark for wonder and imagination, hyperactive and social. When reaching teenage years, you either keep your spark for wonder and stay super social, or you change into someone who likes to keep to themselves, secretly taking in information, analysing things but still keeping that spark. But when you're older, you're generally wiser than most, you're less energetic... Everything changes and not everything stays the same... Except Shrek being hot, that will never change.
(Y/N) began to close his eyes and napped under the tree's shade. Only to be woken up by a dog licking his face. He looked at the dog and saw it's fluffy white fur blowing in the wind. It's blue eyes piercing (Y/N)'s (E/C) ones.
(Y/N): "Why did you wake me up?" He asked the dog, expecting a coherent answer other than 'woof'.
Dog: "Woof!"
(Y/N) looked around himself and saw Frisk and Amber being questioned about a dog by a woman, about the age of 19 with black hair and raven coloured eyes.
(Y/N): "Hey lady!" He called out. "Is this your dog?!" He questioned loudly.
The woman ran over with a leash and put it on the dog's collar.
Lady: "Thank you so much, he's quite a handful sometimes, I hope he wasn't too much trouble for you." She said, apologising for her dog's behaviour.
