There was a thing called "Rule of Threes."
A person can survive three minutes without breathable air, three hours in a harsh environment, three days without drinkable water, and three weeks without food.
I breathed in fresh air so that meant I wasn't exactly on a foreign planet. The weather was sunny but not too hot so I wasn't in a harsh environment. The only problem was drinkable water and food but I should be able to get some under the time limit.
If I remembered my training, the handbook said, "Work the problem. Don't panic. Don't try to solve everything at once. Don't look at the big picture too much."
I didn't have any external injuries so that was great. However, I was currently in my pajamas. This was equivalent to starting in hard mode in a survival game. I had no tools, no money, or anything.
For starters, I need to check if there's civilization or something. If there's a city or village, my chances of survival would skyrocket. The huge sword-like structure in the distance could possibly be a landmark or something. If it was built by a civilization, then there's bound to be sentient beings near it. It should be a good bet.
I began walking towards it and the chances of my survival increased when I saw a dirt road. Roads were good. All roads lead to somewhere. It could be Rome or another place.... Please don't let it be Rome... I had bad memories about that place when I went there for a mission.
The dirt road was leading towards the giant sword so I guess there was probably a village near it. That was great.
However, my feet were starting to hurt. My outfit consisted of nothing but pajamas. In other words, I was transported to this place while I was asleep. It was fortunate that I slept with clothes on or else, I would probably be arrested for indecency... Did this place even have a police force?
Was I even in my own world? I might not look like it but I was pretty good in Geography. It really helped me out in my job as a GUILD agent. However, I never heard of a giant sword-like structure before. I was pretty sure that kind of landmark would be famous around my world. There was a chance that I could be in another world.
Jun-kun said that he was a Moderator for a Server and judging from what he told me, there were other Servers or worlds too. Was traveling between them possible? I read several stories about people getting sent to other worlds but most of them had fortunate circumstances. It really sucked that I was in my pajamas.
Wait wait wait. What about my old world? Would Botan notice that I disappeared? She would probably alert all of the other GUILD agents and send a search party for me. But would they be able to find me?
I continued walking down the dirt road as I thought about things. Jun-kun would probably notice that I was gone. He said he was a Moderator and his job was to make sure the Server had no anomalies. Getting sent to another world without consent was considered an anomaly, right?
But what could have sent me here? Were there any signs that happened to me? I then remembered that weird message.
Have you ever wanted to visit a place that's a world apart?
That could be an explanation. If I remember correctly, it was from a person named Mithra. I didn't have anyone named Mithra in my contacts. Despite not answering it, I was still sent to "a place that's a world apart."
My thoughts were interrupted when I saw chaos in the distance.
A carriage was surrounded by men with weapons. Men in leather armor were clashing with men in white clothes. Judging from how the men in white clothes had an the same mark on their backs as the one in the carriage, they were the defending ones.
What should I do? It looked like a bandit attack. Should I interfere? I could probably take them on but what if the men in white would take me as an enemy? However, there was a chance I could earn their trust by defeating the bandits and that would help in my survival.
Seeing how there's more pros than cons, I charged at the scene. I managed to disarm one bandit and steal his sword. It was a common iron sword with a length of 70 centimeters. I had training with a sword before so I didn't have much problem in fighting.
The men in white were confused by my sudden interruption but I showed them that I was on their side by attacking the bandits. I used the flat of the sword when hitting the bandits. They were sort of slow and I had no problem in avoiding their attacks. I should thank Botan for training me in close combat.
A bandit screamed as he got hit by one of the men in white. Blood flowed from his wound as he lay on the ground. They stabbed his heart and he died. Other bandits were getting killed. Whoa. They actually had no problems with killing? Even GUILD agents were trained to only kill when there was no other choice.
One of the bandits shouted and they retreated. Looks like we won the fight. A man in white approached me.
"Hey there. Sorry for barging in so suddenly but I thought you needed help", I told him.
He then began to speak in a foreign language... Oh no... I forgot about that part. This was clearly another world so I couldn't possibly speak their languages... How should I deal with this?
"I. Ally. Need. Help", I tried to speak slowly while doing hand signals.
The men in white looked at each other and shook in confusion. Ah great. How could I tell them that I needed help?
A woman's voice came from the carriage and one of the men in white opened it. The rest bowed as a beautiful silver-haired woman stepped out. Judging from how the men bowed, she must be an important figure. Was she a noble or something? They were driving a carriage and they used swords and such so I guess technology wasn't really that advanced.
She tried to talk to me but I couldn't understand what she was saying.
"You know what? Forget it... I'm going to die in this world", I grumbled.
The silver-haired girl rubbed her chin. She then touched my forehead and took a deep breath.
"What are you doing? Are you checking my temperature? I'm not exactly si-" I couldn't finish my words since a sharp pain enveloped my mind.
I held my head and crouched down in pain. It was a really strong migraine.
"What did you do?" I asked and then it finally calmed down.
"Sorry about that. I had to forcefully connect our mind", she began speaking in Japanese.
"Wait. You know Japanese?"
"Japanese. Is that what your language is called?"
I then noticed one thing. Her mouth movements weren't matching up to her spoken words.
"What's going on? How did you suddenly know my language?" I asked.
"Oh... This is a type of Connection Magic known as Soul Talk. To explain it simply, there's a magic that automatically translates our spoken words. It is hard to master though", she answered.
"Magic?"
"That's right. I am the Lady of the Peafowl, Reine Pavolia."
"I have one question."
"Go ahead."
"Have you heard of a place called Japan?"
"No."
And that confirmed it. I was definitely in another world.

A/N: Yep. It's another isekai book. Huzzah! I'm so creative. Anyways, Eru's in a new place while Jun is on a mission to find him and other people who got transported. Let's see how the story goes with their perspectives.
