I made a huge yawn as we continued walking. Last night was too much for me. Suisei got a bit too close and I ended up having trouble sleeping. The only reason why I slept was because I forced myself.
And by "forced myself", I meant manually coding myself to sleep for the rest of the night. It was seriously a dumb moment that I forgot that I could code myself to sleep. I guess I needed to mature more as a Coder.
If we continued at our pace, we would arrive at Rizuru Village in the afternoon. That was great. Once we get Koro-san, I could have her stay with Suisei for the night. I no longer have to be with her.
Now then... You might go "Why not? She's your idol, right? You should be happy that you get to be near her!" but I was not one of your weird idol fans. I value my personal space and I didn't like being hugged while sleeping. The thought that my favorite idol was hugging me was scary.
Suisei didn't seem to be bothered by it. She might not even know that she hugged me last night. My theory that she intentionally hugged me was totally wrong. If that was the case, she would have a hard time looking at my eyes.
"Jun... Thank you", Suisei said.
"What's up?" I asked.
"I just felt like saying it."
"Alright then."
We continued walking until we saw a village in the distance. If I was correct, that was Rizuru Village.
According to the System Records, Rizuru Village was founded around 70 years ago when a few settlers found a clearing near a forest. There was a river nearby so the village would be able to survive and the soil was rich for crops. It prospered over the last 70 years.
Suisei and I walked to the town's gates and the guardsman looked at us.
"Are you two travelers?" he asked.
"Yes. We are looking for a brown-haired beastgirl who appeared here a few days ago", I answered.
"Do you know Trevor's guest?"
"Yes. And we are here to pick her up."
"Then please follow me."
We walked through the streets of the village. Kids were chasing each other, an old man was lazily staring at the sky, and a few vendors were trying to promote their products.
After walking for a while, we arrived at a two-story house. The guardsman knocked on the door and an old man came out.
"Trevor. These two are looking for your guest. They said they came to pick her up", the guardsman said.
"Ah. I see. I was worried that no one would come for her", the old man smiled at me.
"Is she well?" I asked.
"Yes. She's been doing fine. But I have no idea what language she is using."
He led us to the living room and walked upstairs. After a few minutes, Koro-san and Trevor arrived.
"Jun-kun!!" Koro-san lunged at me and gave me a hug.
Her tail was wagging and she was shaking. Poor girl. She must've been very scared.
"Now now... Koro-san. Everything's okay now. I'm here", I said.
"What's going on? I was sleeping in my room and when I woke up, I found myself in a forest! And then no one around me could understand what I was saying! Do you have any idea how many times I thought this was one weird dream?!"
"I know... I get it... Just calm down... Okay?"
The old man looked at the two of us.
"It seems that she does know you. Can you explain what is going on?" he asked.
I sighed...
"Koro-san... I'm going to ask for permission to edit you", I told her.
"Edit me?" she asked.
A violet screen appeared in front of her.
"Just press yes and things will be fine", I said.
After I received permission to edit her codes, I quickly installed a Patch inside her.
"What kind of magic is that?" Trevor asked.
"Eh? How come I'm able to understand his words?" Koro-san asked.
"Young miss... You actually know our language?"
"Wait... Am I speaking their language?"
Trevor and Koro-san looked at me for an explanation.
"So... Here's the thing... It's sort of a really long explanation but what if I told you that Reality was similar to a computer program or a magic circle?"

"My head hurts", Koro-san said.
"So you are like a god?" Trevor asked.
"No. Why do people always think that I'm like a god when I explain my Coder abilities?"
"That's because it sounds like a god's power. I can understand them", Suisei said.
"If Suisei says so, then I guess that is the case."
"But why did I get sent to this world?" Koro-san asked.
"Ah... I talked about Servers before, right? Apparently, this Server and our Server would become connected. That means people could freely travel between the Servers. Mithra made a mistake and accidentally sent people to this Server."
"So there are other people like me?"
"Yes. Suisei here was one of the people who got sent to this world."
"Jun-kun's right. I found myself in a forest surrounded by monsters and I would've died if he didn't save me."
"Monsters?"
"This world has monsters, magic, and other things... I'll explain later", I said.
The door opened and an old lady entered the room.
"Oh dear. We have guests?" she asked.
"Yes. We have a god as our guest", Trevor answered.
How many times do I have to tell you, old man? I wasn't a god!
"Luckily, I bought enough ingredients for dinner. These two couples will stay with us, right?" the old woman asked.
I looked outside and the sun was already setting. Explaining the truth of the world took some time.
"If you're offering, then we're taking it. I also have one question. Are there any inns in this village? We'll stay there for the night", I asked.
"I would like to offer my house but I guess Scott's inn needs a few more customers. I will gladly show the way after dinner", Trevor said.
"Thank you", I told him.
I then told Koro-san about this Server while Trevor tried his best to help me in explaining. After we ate dinner, Koro-san, Suisei, and I went to the inn and stayed the night there. Thankfully, Koro-san had no problems letting Suisei sleep with her. That was one problem off my mind.
At least... That was how things were supposed to go.
It was around dawn when someone knocked on my door. When I opened it, Suisei was in front of me and she had a troubled expression.
"Can I stay with you for the night?"
........... Why must you do this to me?
