I reach Subaru and Rem. Rem has already killed the dogs.

She has already beside Subaru shaking him.

"Don't die Don't die, Don't die, Don't die".

I ran to her side.

"Atsushi-sama can you save him".

I check his pockets but the potion was cracked,the red liquid was spilling.

I use a heal spell to heal his wounds but I cant heal curses.
But my little fox can.

I use my mind to talk to her.

"Little help."

"Zzzz"

"I need help, you owe me."

"What"

"Help me with this curse."

"Fine"

She jumps off my shoulder and touches Subaru's forehead with her paw.

"Atsushi-sama, who is this."

"My little pet."

"Are you sure she can..."

"Trust me."

Subaru's body starts glowing and then it stops.

My pet jumped back on my shoulder and slept again.

"He should be fine now." I said.

"Thank you Atsushi-sama."

"Let's get out of here." I said
While placing Subaru on my back. Which led to my pet fox sleeping on my head instead.

More Demon dogs start appearing and they surrounded us.

I was going to drop Subaru and fight but Rem told me she'll make a way for me and run with Subaru.
Then I hold her hand and teleport all 4 of us to the village.

"Huh, what happen?"

"I teleported us out."

"Thanks Atsushi-sama."

"No problem"

"Where are we?"

"At the village."

Then an old lady saw us.

"Oh they have returned." she said.

Villagers start running at us.

"Atsushi-kun, you're safe. ."
Said a very familiar voice.

"Emilia-sama" Rem said as she bowed.

I told Rem to get some villagers for Subaru.

The villagers help me get Subaru off my back and I tell them to find a place for him to rest.

When we got Subaru somewhere to rest.
I walk around the village and asked the villagers where the children are,they led me to a house with the kids.

I ask my pet fox if she could heal the kids, but she was too tired.

I decided to use heal on the kids in hope they would recover faster.

A day later under Roswaal's orders. We moved him to the mansion.

When we got back Emilia was waiting in front of the door.

"Your back." she said.

I nod my head.

"What happen to Subaru-kun." said Emilia

I proceeded to explain everything that happen in the forest to her.

"You could have died out there Atsushi-kun" exclaimed Emilia.

I pat her head and smiled.

She blushes.

While we were in the mansion, I confronted Roswaal. I know he was the one behind this. But he denied all my accusations.

Another day has passed, Subaru still hasn't woken up yet, I'm worried.
I decide to spend the day in library with Beatrice.

She is holding Subaru's hand.
I tap her shoulder and she bolts upward.

"It's me."

"Oh, hi Atsushi-sama, I didn't see you there."

"It's okay."

"Will Subaru-kun be okay?"

"He'll be okay."

"I hope so Atsushi-sama."

"I'll sit here with you."

"Thanks Atsushi-sama."

A week has passed and he still hasn't woken up yet, I know he isn't dead yet, but I'm very worried about him.

Then in the afternoon, I went to check on him and he's already sitting, talking to Rem.

I decided to not be rude and not bother them and left.

I went back to my room and took a nap before dinner.

After dinner I was on my way back to my room and I pass by Emilia's room.

I knock on her door.

"Who is that?"

"It's me Emilia, I want to ask you something."

"Oh, okay, please wait I am currently changing my clothes."

"No problem"

I wait outside her room then after a few minutes she let's me in.

"Is there anything you need Atsushi-kun"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead Atsushi-kun."

"do you want to go out with me?"

"Heh?"

"Do you want to go on a date with me?"

"Atsushi-kun, I would love to but Subaru-kun has already asked me out first and I agreed, I'm really sorry?"

"It's okay Emilia."

I walk back to my room sad, My pet fox seems to have notice my sadness so she decides to speak to me.

"Looks like you got rejected" she said in my mind.

"I know, any tips to deal with my sad heart."

"No" then she sleeps.

"You little bastard."

"I reach my room get on my my bed and sleep without taking off my coat.
