Chapter 1~ Sore loser

Clary's POV

"That's no fair!" whines Simon, as i beat him in another game of candy land.

"You're a cheater" he states, sticking his tongue out.

I roll my eyes, "Can't you just accept the fact, that you're a sore loser."

He huffs, "Never!"

"What are you two blabbing about" said a familiar voice.

We both turn to face Jace.

I grin, as I start walking towards him. "Hey babe" i say, and give him a quick peck on the lips. "Hi" he whispers, smirking.

"Ugh" Simon groans, "Get a room" he whines.

Jace gives him the finger, causing me to burst in a fit of giggles.

Suddenly, Isabelle and Alec run in the room, looking out of breath, with their eyes wide open.

"Sebastian has been spotted!!" yells Isabelle. "Everyones talking about it!"

That got my attention.

"What? Where?!" says Jace.

"Not far from here" mutters Alec.

"Ya, mom called and said to stay here, and they'll be here soon. Mabye by tomorrow??" adds Isabelle.

"Shit" squeaks Simon.

"Clary. You're sleeping in my room tonight" Jace announces.

I blush.

Great job Jace, say it a little louder, would you?!

Suddenly, a big bang snapped me out of my thoughts.

"What was that?" says Jace, cautiously.

"I don't know, but it came from the kitchen" replies Alec

We all walk over to the kitchen, slowly.

I get my dagger out of my coat, so does jace.

Alec puts his finger over his mouth, signalling us to be quiet.

He kicks the door open, revealing the intruder.

Standing in the kitchen in all his glory was him.

His messy blond hair was shorter than before, and his black eyes- scanning is all with an amused expression.
