Maybe I should have listened.. (24)

Karl was just drifting off to sleep when he had gotten a text and about two seconds later Quackity got one. After a few seconds they looked at each other with a worried look.

Karl: "I assume you got the same text?"

Q: "maybe, was it about Sapnap?"

Karl: "yep"

They asked when Sapnap would be getting out of the hospital and Dream said it would be soon, hopefully.  They decided to try and sleep even though it didn't work out that well, but soon enough they managed to fall asleep. Well at least for most of the night.

Four hours later~

Quackity had woken up sweating and hot. He looked over to the clock, 4:38 in the morning. He just began to cry into his pillow. He heard rustling and felt arms wrap around him.

Karl: "hey, Q don't worry, I'm sure whatever you dreamt isn't going to happen"

They laid there like that for awhile until Quackity had calmed down. Karl was rubbing circles on Quackitys back to calm him down. Eventually Quackity was laying down with Karl basically on top of him. (I'm pretty sure you know the pose)

Karl: "do you want to tell me what the dream was about?"

Q: "well, it was about me and you going to see Sapnap and when we got there Sapnap was barely alive, we went home and went to bed and when we went to go see him the next day he had died"

Karl: "hey hey hey, don't worry that won't happen, trust me"

Karl had tried to calm him down by saying that even though he wasn't even sure he believed what he had said. Karl just nuzzled his head into Quackitys neck and tried to just forget about it and go to sleep.

The next morning~

Karl woke up and went to the kitchen to eat. He saw Chris and told him good morning. Chris happened to be making waffles, bacon, eggs and sausage. Karl sat at the table scrolling through his phone.

Chris: "I figured I should make extras so Quackity could have some"

Karl: "that's fine- wait how do you know he's here?"

Chris: "I went to make sure you were here and was going to ask you if you wanted to help me make breakfast, but saw you sleeping so I didn't wake you up. Oh by the way I'm pretty sure one of your phones was blowing up with texts"

Karl: "ok, well that's good to know. Well it wasn't my phone, that's for sure"

Chris: "ok, well foods almost done"

Karl: "ok, I'll go wake big Q up"

Karl headed to his room and went over to Quackity and shook him awake. Quackity groaned and squinted at the sunlight shining in his face.

Karl: "hey, Chris made us some food. Get up"

Karl gave Quackity a kiss on the cheek and headed out to the kitchen again. A few minutes later they saw Quackity walk in rubbing his eyes. Quackity sat down next to Karl and leaned his head on Karls shoulder. Karl just played with his hair.

Karl: "oh by the way, I'm pretty sure your phone was blowing up"

Q: "it was?"

Karl: "mhm"

Quackity checked his phone and his eyes went wide. He had completely forgotten that he had never told Bad and Skeppy that he was staying at Karls house. He quickly texted them back and put his phone down.

Karl: "who was it?"

Q: "it was Bad and Skeppy"

Karl: "oh, ok"

After that they ate their breakfast and watched a movie to pass the time. They had called Dream to ask if they could come over after Sapnap had come home. Dream said sure and made a plan so they knew what to do.

They had to wait a few very long days before they could go see Sapnap. The closer it got to them being able to see him, the more nervous they were. They hadn't seen him for over a month and didn't know how he would react. Each night they hoped it would turn out good.

One night they were just laying in bed. It was silent other then the fan blowing and their breathing. Quackity had told Bad that he would be staying at Karls house for a while, just for a few days. They heard a little noise and a meow. They looked down and saw Tiger.

Q: "aww, hey Tiger"

Tiger jumped onto Quackitys chest and curled into a ball. Quackity pet him while he played with Karls hair. Karl fell asleep while Tiger was purring. Quackity just giggled to himself and fell asleep shortly after.

Another time skip~

That next morning they both woke up to Quackitys phone ringing. It was Dream. He quickly answered the call to listen to Dream speak. It was about Sapnap, obviously.

After the call ended he told Karl that they were going to need to head to Dreams house. They put their shoes on, told Chris bye, and left the house.

It only took about 20 minutes to get there. They were also pretty glad they knew where Dream lived because if they didn't they would have needed to ask and that would most likely be pretty awkward. Once they got to his house that couldn't even knock on the door before it flung open.

Dream: "hey guys, he's in bed right now"

Karl: "good to know, did you tell him we were coming?"

Dream: "no..did you want me to?"

Karl: "nope, I was hoping you didn't"

Dream: "oh ok"

Dream let them in and they went to the guest bedroom or as they would call it, Sapnaps room. They knocked on the door and waited for a response to come in.

Sap: "come in"

They walked in and stood at the end of the bed. It took Sapnap a second to look up from his phone and even after that it took him a second to realize what was happening. He jaw dropped and he stared at them in shock.

Sap: "I- huh- why are you guys-"

Karl: "we came here because we heard what happened"

Q: "yea.."

Sapnap turned his phone off while Karl and Quackity sat on the bed next to him. They asked Sapnap what brought him to do it and he told them. They were honestly heart broken. That brought them to ask Sapnap what happened at the party.

Sap: "first of all, thanks for letting me explain now. Ok so first of all, I didn't even know her, and second of all, I would never want to cheat on you guys, you guys make me so happy. Anyways, she told me to go sit on the couch and when I did she climbed on me and kissed. I assume you guys came out when that happened, but just know I would never ever want to lose you guys"

Karl: "oh..."

Q: "yea uh..sorry about just assuming.."

Sap: "it's fine, it's also ok if you don't want to forgive me"

Karl: "well we do forgive you"

Sap: "thanks, oh by the way, how is Kate and Tiger?"

Q: "they are doing great"

Sap: "that's good"

Karl: "so Sapnap.. I was wondering.."

Q: "do you maybe...wanna be our boyfriends...?"

Sap: "umm, YESSS"

Karl: "YAY"

They gave Sapnap a kiss on the cheek and smiled, life was perfect....for now.

YOOOOO IM BACK. Also this is the longest chapter I have ever made. Anyways Kai and nonbionary won so yea. That is useful later. Anyways ly besties. BYEEEEEE <3
