it rained alot here last night. lightning irradiated the bruised purple sky and electrons bounced off my skin to the beat off thunder. the violet sky cracked with glowing white made me forget for a while about the freshly erupted turmoil in my life. i forgot about the hospital visits, the worrying glances, the pale yellow pills. i almost forgot about you, but you seem to be almost irremovable from me.
do you remember the time when you made me skip class to run in the rain? our clothes were drenched, our skin was cold but none of that could stop the shrieks of laughter that spilled from our blue lips. we both spent the rest of the day in the nurse's office shivering and smiling. i can still envision the beads of water falling from your damp hair. i remember how you interlaced your iced fingers with mine.
i seem to remember each and every thing about you, yet i can't seem to remember when did it all go down. how did we get so detached from each other? why don't you ever reply to me? please tell me what did i do wrong. i want to make it right.
