Later that night the boys meet up in the treehouse above the sandlot for a sleepover. It was a bit weird since I was the only girl but I didn't care to much. I just layed my stuff over to the side.
When we got there we climbed up the ladder into the treehouse. We were the last ones there
I rolled out my sleeping bag a put my pillow on top. It was a cold night so I brought a jacket but I didn't wear it, so I put it next to my sleeping bag.
"Sorry we're late" Scotty said "My mom made me put on my jacket and do the dishes" he sat his stuff in front of the table Ham was sitting at.
"Wanna s'more"? Ham asked Scotty
"S'more of what?" Scotty asked
"No, a s'more!" Ham said
"I haven't had anything yet, so how can I have s'more of nothing?" Scotty asked
Ham paused for a second and stared at him
"You're killin me Smalls!" he said
I overheard their conversation and walked over to them
"You've never had a s'more before Scotty?" I asked
"Uh, no" he said
"These are s'mores" Ham said "pay attention"
"First you take the graham, then you stick the chocolate on the graham, Then you roast the mallow. When the mallows flaming, you stick it on the chocolate, then you cover it with the other end, then, you stuff!" He took a bite of the s'more he had made "kinda messy, but good!" He handed the s'more the Scotty.
"You want one Y/n?" Ham asked
"Of course" I said
Ham repeated his process of making a s'more then he gave it to me
"Thanks" I said taking a bite
"No problem" He replied
I took my s'more and walked back over to my sleeping bag I had set up when I got thereCoincidentally that happened to be right next to Benny and his sleeping bag
I sat down and put my pillow on my lap
"You got a s'more" Benny said
"Yep" I said
"is it y/n approved?" he asked
"definitely" I said
he didn't say anything, just leaned in and took a bit out of the other side.
I smiled and laughed
"Had to give it a taste test" He said and smiled
"Oh, is it Benny approved?" I asked
"Yes it is" he said
I laughed again and blushed a bit as he looked into my eyes
"Ok quiet you guys" Squints said but everyone kept talking "I said quiet!! Are you trying to wake it up?! It just went to bed!"
We all went quiet after he said that and looked at Squints
"What just went to bed?" Scotty asked
"Shhhhhh!!" the boys hushed
Squints hopped up on a ledge of the treehouse so he was over everyone else
He then grabbed a flashlight and turned it on. He put it under his chin to give himself a scary look as he told his story
"The legend of the beast goes back a long time" Squints started "before any of us could even pick up a baseball"
