A/N: Smut heavy chapter.

Lizzy and Peter stood in the rain outside the stone walls of the jewelry shop lost in each other's gazes. Lizzy swallowed thickly as the raindrops blended in with the tears streaming from her eyes, but they weren't tears of sorrow or anguish, but rather tears of sheer relief and overwhelming love she finally allowed herself to feel for the first time since meeting Peter.

"I love you," Lizzy repeated more confidently as a watery smile formed on her lips and she looked up at him, her heart swelled with the sweet ache of joy from her confession, "It's not just because you just bought me and my sister the sweetest gifts I could ever imagine...it's all of it. Your strength and your sensitivity...your passion...your tenderness and thoughtfulness...all of it. I love you so much and I'm absolutely terrified because of it," Lizzy felt tears sting her eyes once again as she sniffled and looked down before looking back up at him, "You were right. I have been hurt before. I've had my heart broken and I swore to myself that I'd never open my heart again. But you...you make me want to take that risk again. I love you, Peter Thomas Ratajczyk."

Peter's eyes widened more as she called him by his full given name before he quickly stepped toward her, closing the gap that had been between them. He cupped her cheeks before he kissed her deeply against the wall of the shop. Rain had soaked his hair turning it into a inky waterfall down his back. Lizzy whimpered against his lips as they kissed and his body pressed up against her. She pressed her hands against his chest as he kissed her. Peter broke the kiss and leaned his forehead against hers as he caught his breath and looked deep into her eyes, "Baby, I'm scared too. I've never felt like this before. Not like this...and I was really beginning to think I'd never hear you say-"

"I love you," Lizzy whispered again, interrupting Peter. He drew her in for a kiss again, his lips moving tenderly against hers before they lips parted and she felt his tongue run against her lips. She parted her lips and her tongue met his as he pulled her tightly against him. She went on her tiptoes as he embraced her and when they broke their kiss she giggled, "I wish I was taller."

"You're perfect, Angel," Peter hummed into her ear before he began kissing along her jawline. Lizzy began to fidget as she tried to get closer to him. She moaned as she tried to straddle one of his long legs in the rain.

She breathed deeply as Peter trailed kisses along her jaw and she arched her back trying to get closer to him and closed her eyes. Her heart raced along with her breath before she whispered, "I just...want to die with you right now."

"I know how you feel, baby," Peter murmured into her skin before he pressed his lips into her flesh again.

Her eyes opened and she looked up into the drizzling Irish night sky as Peter clenched her to his chest, his lips continuing their tender assault on the flesh of her neck before she nearly sobbed, "Take me back to the hotel."

Peter kissed her fully on the lips one more time before swooping an arm around her and guiding her away from the shop and down the glistening Galway street. Their clothes were sticking to their bodies from the rain but neither of them cared. As they crossed the streets of the city they would once in a while seek shelter in the doorway of a closed shop to steal kisses and feel each other as if for the first time.

They finally made their way to their hotel and through the lobby until they found their room. Lizzy leaned against the door frame as she watched Peter unlock it. Green flames burned deep in his eyes with passion as his gaze met hers once again. Her eyes lingered on his as she stepped through the doorway of the hotel room. He followed her into the room and closed the door behind him. He turned to throw the deadbolt of the door to ensure their privacy, both of them completely drenched from the rain.
