There was a time I truly believed
humans failed at living.
We soaked up chaos.
Spun lies to others for fun, but
ruptured hearts in the process.
We confused darkness for light.
Lost our sight of what matters.
Apologised for the way
we looked.
Maybe all we need to do is spill our
colours into everything and brighten
the universe.
Maybe we need to treat people, the
way we want to be treated.
Maybe we need to come together
to pour the negativity out.
Forget maybe, we need to
embrace the storm so
we are able to evolve.
