It was dumb. And Y/n had no idea how exactly it had happened. She was fighting some guy that put his hands on her friend. Said friend was calling Olivia, and they were still fighting.

But, by the time Olivia arrived Y/n were sitting on the steps to some closed building with her friend icing her head. It wasn't even Y/n who initiated the fight it was the guy. Who ran away five minutes ago because Y/n hit him really hard in the head.

"Aw, baby," Olivia muttered. Jess stood up and walked towards her own car, biding both of them a goodbye before driving off. Olivia sat on the steps beside Y/n who looked miserable.

"She called, said some guy was eyeing her. She didn't think something would happen, but when I got there he was, he was all over her." Olivia's hand rested on her shoulder. "And I pushed him off. And he hit me back, so I grabbed Jess and we left but he followed."

"You don't have to explain it to me, Y/n. You look like you got hit by a truck," she said, running her thumb over her busted lip.

"He just wouldn't walk away," she whispered. "He kept insisting on that she came with him." She was worked up and Olivia just rubbed her back to try and calm her down. "Liv?"

"Hmm," she hummed.

"Everything hurts," she whispered.

"I know, baby, I know," she said. "Let's get you home?" Y/n nodded and helped her stand up, she wobbled at first, but caught her balance.

When they got to Y/n's house they were relieved to see her parents weren't home. "You staying?" Y/n asked.

"Do you need me to?"

"Do I need you to?" Y/n laughed. "Liv, do you want to?" She nodded. "I'll always need you to stay, are you insane?"

"Only in the membrane." They both laughed. "Where are your parents?"

"Out of town," Y/n answered. "Whole house to myself, now come on." They both walked in and made way for the stairs.

Olivia helped Y/n take off her bloody clothes and put on pajamas. They went into Y/n bathroom, Olivia sat on the counter and pulled Y/n between her legs as she wiped away what blood she could.

"This looks like it might need stitches," Olivia muttered, tracing her finger along a gash that went from her eyebrow end of her eye. "Does it hurt." Y/n shook her head. She pushed her away, and lifted her shirt up to change it for a clean one.

"Jesus Christ, babe. Look at you." Olivia's hands went for her stomach which had bruises on it. "Come here," she whispered. She hugged Y/n, who in turn buried her head in her chest. They stayed like that until Olivia put the knew shirt on and walked them towards the bed. Y/n stopped. "What?"

"You need a change of clothes," she pointed out. "I have your clothes here, or mine, which do you prefer?"

"Yours." Y/n walked towards her closet and grabbed a hoodie and a pair of Olivia's shorts. She walked over towards Olivia. She lifted up her crop top, and slipped the hoodie on. She stepped out of her jeans and took the shorts.

"Comfortable?" Y/n asked. She nodded. Olivia crawled into Y/n's bed, moving over to make room for her. "Liv?" Y/n brought her hand towards her neck.

"Yes," she said intently.

"I have a headache."

"Okay, do you need pills?" She nodded. "Where are they?"

"I can get them," Y/n said. "I just wanted to tell you." Olivia smiled as she watched her girlfriend walk towards the bathroom. She came back out and crawled in next to Olivia. She opened her arms and Y/n crawled into them. Even being taller than her and normally the big spoon she laid against her stomach.

Olivia ran her hands through her hair. "Are you sure those cuts don't hurt?"

"They don't. Just a headache from getting my ass kicked."

"Well, at least you stood up for her," Olivia offered. She knew Y/n felt bad about getting beat up, she also knew that it was very like Y/n to take someone on she knew she couldn't beat in order to protect her friends. "Your eye's going to be black."

"Oh, well."

"Try and sleep?" Y/n shut her eyes. Olivia felt her phone buzz.
