As Annabelle was walking down the road to the shop, she decided to name her new puppy.
"How about I name you Wolfy?" Annabelle said joyfully.
The puppy started jumping up in Annabelle's arms, just as if he liked his new name.
"Watch out your going to fall!" laughed Annabelle.
"I'm not going to let you walk until I get you a collar and a lead. I can't let you run away!"Annabelle spent the rest of the short walk thinking about what she needs to buy.
"Ok, so I need: a collar, a lead, a bed, bowls, oh yes and dog food. Maybe training mats will be needed?" thought Annabelle. As she walked into the shop, Annabelle went over to the pet section. There was only one shop in The Village, but it sold things for pets and pets were allowed in it. Firstly, she went to look at the huge variety of collars and leads.
"I really like this dark blue collar, I'm going to buy it. I should buy an extendable lead. It would probably be more comfortable." Annabelle thought. As soon as she was done picking the lead and collar, durable bowls, training mats, and some toys, Annabelle decided to ask a member of staff for help with buying food for Wolfy.
"Excuse me, could you please help me choose which dog food I should buy for my puppy?" asked Annabelle politely.
"Of course. At first, you should get it food for puppies. You should feed it small portions a few times a day. Once it gets older, start feeding it bigger portions less times a day, and start buying dog food for adult dogs." explained the member of staff.
Annabelle thanked the member of staff before going to buy everything needed to make dinner. After paying for everything, Annabelle put the collar on Wolfy and attached the lead to it and started walking home.
When they got home, Annabelle showed Wolfy the house.
"Welcome to your new house!" Annabelle shouted excitedly.
"Now, we are in the corridor. On the right is the living room and kitchen. That's where the garden door is. On the left are the stairs. My room, my mum's room, my mum's office and the bathroom are upstairs. We also have an attic, but we just use it as a storage." Annabelle explained.
"I am going to have to teach you tricks, so my mum doesn't realise your here."
As Annabelle said that, Wolfy wet himself on the floor. After cleaning it up, she had an idea.
"Seeing as I need to walk you, I am going to show you a place that means a lot to me."
