"Annabelle, I'm home" called Annabelle's mum while entering the house.
Annabelle quickly left her room and closed the door behind her.
"Hi mum, how was work?" asked Annabelle.
"It was fine, but tiring. Something smells nice, did you cook?" asked Annabelle's mum as she walked into the kitchen.
"Yes I did. I thought you would be tired after work, so I cooked something." explained Annabelle.
"That's so thoughtful, thank you." thanked Annabelle's mum. After eating, Annabelle and her mum decided to get ready to go to sleep.
"Annabelle, it's really late now. We should probably go to sleep." said Annabelle's mum.
"Ok." Annabelle agreed. As soon as Annabelle turned the lights off in the room and got into bed, Wolfy started trying to jump of Annabelle's bed.
"Wolfy, sleep in your bed." Annabelle whispered.
Wolfy continued to jump. Annabelle realised, that if he was too loud, her mum would hear noises and come into her room. She picked up Wolfy and put him into his bed. Annabelle then turned around and tried to go to sleep. However, Wolfy had other plans. He started squeaking and jumping again.Suddenly, the lights in the corridor turned on.
"Annabelle is everything ok?" Annabelle heard her mum say. She quickly got out of bed and pushed all of Wolfy's things under her bed. She then picked up Wolfy and laid down in her bed, holding Wolfy, facing away from the door."What's wrong Annabelle, are you crying?" asked Annabelle's mum as she walked into Annabelle's room.
"Yes mum, everything is ok." answered Annabelle.
"Then what was that noise coming from your room?" asked Annabelle's mum.
"Oh I was just, um, sneezing." answered Annabelle.
"Are you catching a cold or something? Do you feel sick?"
"No, no I think it just might be hay fever."
"Oh ok, could you please face me when I'm talking to you?"
"Um, my eyes are irritated and the light is making it worse."
"Sorry, I'm going to go to sleep now. Goodnight."
"Goodnight mum."When Annabelle saw the light turning off, she closed the door and went back to bed. Wolfy was about to start squeaking again, when Annabelle pulled him onto her bed.
"I'm going to let you sleep in my bed today, but just today ok?" whispered Annabelle.
