"Ok, so we only have a few hours before my mum comes home. And I still need to cook something, so we should leave now" Annabelle said to Wolfy.
They, then, went into the garden. Annabelle flapped open the loose part of the fence and went into the forest. Wolfy was still a bit too weak to run, so they were having a nice stroll through the forest.
When they got to the slope, Annabelle decided to teach Wolfy how to play fetch. She would throw the ball down the slope from the hill, and then Wolfy would run down to get it. Annabelle didn't let Wolfy off his lead, so, using it, she would help Wolfy get back up the hill. After a while, he was running normally up and down the hill, catching the ball and bringing it back. And that was when Annabelle realised just how muddy the ground was.
Wolfy's paws and belly were covered in mud. Annabelle decided to go back home.
When they got home, Annabelle remembered, that she didn't buy any shampoo for dogs. She couldn't go to the shop with Wolfy being so muddy, so she gave him food and water and locked him in the kitchen.
When Annabelle got home, the floor was covered in muddy paw prints.
"Oh no. Mum is gonna be back soon, I need to get this cleaned up." Annabelle said.Firstly, Annabelle washed Wolfy. She dried him with a hair drier, so it was faster. Then, she came up with an idea to clean the floor. Annabelle took out brushes and tied them to Wolfy's paws. She then poured water in a bucket and put soap into it. After mixing it a bit, she poured it all over the floor and got Wolfy to walk around. Surprisingly, it was working, so Annabelle could get cooking.
When Annabelle was done, she quickly wiped the floor and hid Wolfy's things in her room.
"This is what my room looks like Wolfy. This is going to be your bedroom too. You'll be spending most of your time here when my mum will be home, as she can't see you." explained Annabelle.
She then put Wolfy's bed next to hers and his bowls in the corner. She managed to hid the big bag of food into her wardrobe, along with the other essentials, such as the shampoo. Annabelle's mum rarely entered her room, so Annabelle was sure her mum wouldn't find any of Wolfy's things. As soon as Annabelle was done hiding everything, her mum came home.
