After 1 month of working at the new law firm in Kyoto, Mary was always attacked with headaches, seizures, have trouble to sleep and keep vomiting food that she has consumed

At first, she thought that she might be working too hard but then her eyes vision started to fade, she loses her balance and end up lying on the hospital bed

"It seems like you have woke up" Sachiko entered the ward and sat down next to Mary's bed

"Sachiko?!" Mary shocked as she observed the ash-blonde woman that was wearing the white coat

"It's been a long time right?" Sachiko chuckled

"I don't have time to talk with you, tell me when can I discharge from here?" Mary asked as she remembered that she has a lot of things to do

"Not so fast Mary..." Sachiko said, giving the blonde a serious look "Tell me something... Has your head ever been badly injured?"

"Yes, when I'm still one of the Hyakkaou academy students" Mary answered

"Let me guess... The pet system?" Sachiko raised one of her eyes brow

Mary nodded as she remembered the moment when she loses to Kirari and became the house pet

"Now it explained everything" Sachiko hand Mary two pieces of X-rays

Mary took a look at the brain scan that revealed areas of abnormal growth in her brain

"You have a brain tumor" Sachiko said

Ever since that day, Mary stayed on the ward for her tumor treatment and went through a lot of chemotherapy processes to kill the cancer cells

Mary goes to the rooftop to catch some fresh air. She was sitting on the bench, looking at the beautiful night sky when Sachiko come to her

"Will you stop following me? Don't you have a patient to take good care of?" Mary rolled her eyes

"They all are boring, besides... You are my favorite thing you know?" Sachiko chuckled and sat down "There something I have to tell you..."

"Hmm?"

"The chemotherapy doesn't seem to work but don't worry,  there always another way-"

"I don't care if I die. I think this is karma for me. Karma for putting all the blame on my wife and then leaving her all alone" Mary said as a tear of regret gathered in her eyes

"Wow, that's interesting..." Sachiko giggled

"I already prepared the divorce letter for her. She didn't deserve a bad person like me..." Mary said "I want to give up with all of this treatment and meet her to give that letter. Even if it hurt, even if I don't want to let her go, even if I love her so much... I still have to do it" She cried

"You sure?"

"Look at your condition... Your body was pale and your skin is cold. I let you be discharged so that you can give her the divorce letter but what happens now?" Sachiko confused

"I met her by accident that day and my mind suddenly change. I seriously can't let her go, I want to spend my last time with her. Until now, I don't even know why I still keep the divorce letter in my bag. I should throw it away" Mary explained

"Mary, come back to me and continue the treatment. As I said, the Momobami girl will still find out and things will get worse" Sachiko sighed

Marry rolled her eyes. She doesn't want to hear anything and excuse herself to go
