Ch 15

The next morning you were waiting at the skate park that you always saw Reki at. You were wearing your signature hood and mask waiting for the boy to show up. While at 'S' last night you texted him to meet you here. There was a nice breeze blowing by the bench you were sitting on.

Soon you heard the sound of wheels on the pavement. When you looked up you could see Reki coming towards you, but he looked like he was confused. As soon as he got close enough he stopped and just stared at you. Neither of you wanting to be the first to speak.

"Why did you ask me to meet you at the skate park if you're still just going to wear the hood?" You just giggled a little bit which made him even more confused, "I didn't think you'd believe me if I didn't show up in it." As you said that you took off your hood and mask, leaving Reki speechless.

Your smile faded, he didn't look happy that it was you. "You don't want to be my friend anymore huh? That's fine yo-" You were cut off by Reki yelling "No no no no no! Y/n I definitely want to be your friend! It was just a little shocking ya know?" The boy laughed nervously while rubbing the back of his neck.

You couldn't help but smile at him. The fact that he actually wanted to be your friend filled you with so much joy. Reki couldn't help but stare at you, the way the sun shone on you h/c hair, the way your e/c eyes sparkled. You looked beautiful in his eyes.

"So, why do you always wear a disguise when you're at 'S'?" You looked down a little ashamed, "My brother can't know that I go, he banned me from skating but I just love it so much. I couldn't stay away." Reki just nodded at you and smiled. He wouldn't tell your secret, he wanted you to keep coming to 'S', but more importantly he wanted to be able to have fun and skate with his new friend.

"Also if you don't mind me asking, what happened to your ankle? I didn't think you got hurt during our beef." Reki looked like he was worried. Worried that you hurt yourself against him and didn't want him to feel bad.

You giggled again shaking your head, "Your right I didn't get hurt during our beef. On my way home I started to painc about something. So I tried to run home and twisted my ankle on the way. A person I don't know helped me get to the hospital and he took my board so I wouldn't get in trouble when my brother showed up."

"WHAT?!" You jumped a little not really sure why Reki yelled.

"You let a random person take your board?" You nodded in response "He seemed like a nice person"

Reki just shook his head at you and said "You're really something else" in a whisper so you wouldn't be able to hear him with a small smile on his face.
