"And run" Remus said to me as we came to the platform gateway, I picked up speed and ran directly between platforms nine and ten. I blinked once and I was now standing on platform 9 and three quarters, looking at the bright red train
"Let's go" Remus joined me and we walked down between families to get to the luggage carriage, where I helped Remus lug my heavy trunk up on the train

"Have fun okay, no messing, I know you'll do good in your classes regardless so i dont need to pester you with it" he said and hugged me
I chuckled into his shirt
"Course I will. I'll miss you. You'll be okay right?" I asked happily
"I'll be fine, if I need help I'll go to Tony" he smiled
The train horn went off, so I gave the man another hug before I jumped into the train. And stood near the window to wave to him, but I noticed I couldn't spot him anywhere, so he must've gone home. Thinking nothing of it I went to find a compartment, or my friends, whichever happens first

"Hi strangers" I said walking into the compartment with three boys already sitting there
"Ahhhh stranger! Lee get rid of it" George screamed jumping on the boy dramatically
Laughing I sat down beside Fred
"Hi" I smiled at him, "hey" he smiled back

~~~~~
"GO OLIVER! Wahoooooo" I cheered for the boy
"I'm right here Hals, hurting my poor ears" Lee whined rubbing his sore ears
"What? I want him to keep his position as Keeper, he was telling me how after Hogwarts he wants to go pro" I explained
"Uhuh...." Lee trailed off
"What? What's wrong now?" I sighed and turned fully to him
"Why so supportive? Do you have a little crush?" He teased
"That's absurd, of course I don't. He's just a friend who I like a lot. And not like as in 'oh Oliver please marry me' kinda like, it's a 'Oliver shut your mouth you idiot' kinda like" I pulled faces and clasped my hands together making Lee burst out laughing
"Okay okay. So if you don't like Oliver who do you like?" He asked
I shook my head with a smile "nu-uh. Not today Mr.Jordan" I chuckled
"Why not? I'm your best friend. Tell me! Pleaseeeeee" he begged
I ignored the boy's questions as I watched Fred and George zoom around the pitch hitting bludgers around, away from their dummy team.
Try-outs lasted another half hour before Oliver decided who would be on the team this year. So Lee and I sat on the edge of our seats hoping our best friends would have gotten the post.
"And beaters are Fred Weasley, and George Weasley. Welcome boys" Oliver said
While the twins just chest bumped happily, Lee and I had jumped up screaming excitedly
Lee had been offered the job of commentator by McGonagle, said he was a good talker, so he took it. Plus he gets a sickle for every match.
~~~~~

"I hate potions, honestly he just wants me to fail. He hardly picks on you guys to the same extent as he does me" I groaned walking out of the dungeons with Fred, George and Lee
"Maybe he doesn't pick on me because I know what I'm doing?" Lee teased
"Excuse you! I do know what I'm doing, just whenever I try to ask a simple question like 'why use bat teeth over dragon scales' and I get points taken off of me." I whined
"Calm down Hals, you survived. I'm pretty sure he only does it cause he's jealous that you, a Gryffindor, asks more questions than his slimy Slytherins" Fred wrapped an arm over my shoulders
"Besides, who cares? It's just potions" George added
"I want to do good regardless, it's the Stark in me" I sighed

We walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts, and took our seats, ready for Quirrel to give us our class
"N-now, today w-we w-will be studying th-th-the v-va-vam-vampires. Page 215" he stuttered out
I don't mind Professor Quirrel, he always seemed nice enough, just hard to talk to, but he can't help that.
I turned to the given page, and began to skim through the information.
