After breakfast and seeing poor Ron's dress robes I had gotten quite excited.
The whispers of a ball had broken out and everyone was talking about it. Sadly for me, hanging around with the three boys I never really had a chance to talk girly stuff, not that I minded. But in this one rare occasion.

I'd resorted to hanging around with my dorm mates for the day. Angelina, Katie and I were the closest in our dorm. They usually hung out just them, but they did join me and the boys occasionally seeing as we were all friends. Most the time we just spent separate time.

"I wonder if it's like an actual ball?" Katie said as we walked into the hall
"I hope so" Angelina nodded
"Me too, it'll be so fun. I wonder if it's like my uncles Galas though or something else" I shrugged
We stopped for a second seeing that the chairs were pushed to either side of the room with the tables removed
"Is a Gala like a ball?" Angelina asked
"I think so. That side I think" I pointed to the side with girls
"I forget sometimes that you're uncle is like filthy rich" Katie chuckled
"To be honest, me too" I smiled
"Do you get any money? Or....." Angelina asked
I nodded softly sitting down
"Depends, if it's something that involves the section of the company mum owned I get that share. And I get money too when I contribute, so on the like tiny details I help Tony with I get my share. It's usually not a lot though. But it'll help after school wise" I explained
"Still so cool" Katie whispered
I nodded and smiled

Fred's POV
Hailey hadn't been with us all day, I've not seen her since first class. And even then we hadn't really spoken seeing as we had separate partners for Herbology.
"Relax Fred, she's probably with the girls doing girly things. She always does that once or twice a month" George patted my shoulder
I just rolled my eyes and watched everyone fill into the hall
"There she is" lee pointed to the door

I looked up and saw her. Even with her hair thrown up in a messy bun and her uniform she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen.
I watched her talking to Katie and Angelina, laughing as they walked and sat down across from us. I watched as she scrunched her nose up like she does when she's explaining something to do with muggles, I watched as her eyes lit up at something funny one of the girls said, I watched her laugh.
I couldn't help but smile at her when she looked around and our eyes meet, she smiled back and I winked making her chuckle before talking again

"You're so smitten" George elbowed me
"Can you blame him?" Lee asked
I looked at them confused
"He's dating Hailey Black. She's literally the most powerful person in this room right now. And she is a brilliant prankster" lee said
I rolled my eyes and slapped the back of his head as my twin laughed
"I can't wait to see you both when you find your one. Hailey is amazing and you can't deny it" I looked back at my fierce girl

She amazes me every second of the day with her smarts, beauty and ideas. She makes me so happy words can't even explain. She makes me feel like home, she is my home. And I know she always will be.

Haileys POV
The hall went quiet as McGonagle began to speaks
"The Yule Ball has been a tradition of the Triwizard Tournament since its inception. On Christmas Eve night, we and our guests gather in the Great Hall for a night of well-mannered frivolity. As representatives of the host school I  expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward. And I mean this literally, because the Yule Ball is, first and foremost. . . . . .a dance." She explained

Every girl began to whisper excitedly
My eyes filled excitedly as I looked at the two beside me as they squealed and I giggled at them.
The boys however made grunts and groans
