Did it Hurt? (Keisuke Baji x Reader)

Explanations and Some Random Bull Crap

I wrote Did It Hurt just for fun and before I even typed it, I already have an ending in mind. My initial and original plan was too have Y/n die from CIPA and have Baji die like in the manga but as I continue writing the story, I was tempted to alter the ending. I considered waking Y/n from a coma just to find Baji dead. Of course I also considered a happy ending. It will go like this if I decided to write the happy ending:

"Y/n?" Baji asked in surprise, looking at the disheveled girl in front of him. A big coat worn over her hospital gown, messy hair, pale face, and if Keisuke will look closely, he can still see the hole where the needle of her IV fluid pierced her. It's obvious that the girl rushed to this place just to stop Baji's suicidal sacrifice.

And man, you know how to make an entrance.

Just as the knife was about to pierce Keisuke, a hand suddenly held the blade of the knife making blood cover it's sharpness. If that's not enough, the person who did this didn't even winced in the slightest-- and it's not just any person.

It's Keisuke Baji's bitch, L/n Y/n.

Instead of loving eyes, or rosy aura that one would expect upon meeting the man she fell for, L/n Y/n was instead glaring at Keisuke Baji. Her grip tightening on the blade at Baji's hand. "Jerk, are you even kidding me?" She hissed, her eyes becoming sharper by each second. "I kicked my grim reaper just to stay alive and hear those three words you promised."

Alas, Did it Hurt ended the way you read it-- L/n Y/n and Keisuke Baji died without even saying 'I Love You' to each other and getting together, with Mikey as a cameo. I also thought about making it an open ending but I decided to stick to the original plan.

And about Y/n's last word, the last word in the novel Warm. According to the previous chapters, L/n Y/n can't feel Keisuke's hands when she held it that's why atleast, in the dream, she finally felt what it feels like to hold his hand-- warm.
