A Date With My Mind

Parts of Me

I thought about a boy's eyes.
I wrote about how beautiful his eyes looked
and what they showed.

Then I took a look in the mirror
and wondered if there's another world behind the mirror...
I wrote about that too.

Only then I realised that I can write a story about anything.
Every silly thought and experience
can be a story,
or a poem.

I continued writing.
Those stories formed a part of me,
so I named my first book Parts of Me.
It was sweet and short.

I finally discovered my talent.
I'm a magician too, just like Stephen King, J.K Rowling...
All of the writers.
We're magicians.
We're gods in the worlds that we create.
We make travelling to other worlds easy, through the power of words.

Words are special.
Actually, we, people make them special.
