A mysterious primordial cosmic force of all things evil, all things dark, all things corrupt and dangerous, the Forces of Darkness are not a typical antagonistic force of a Pretty Cute villain and they make any other Pretty Cute villain looked feeble, weak, pathetic and puny by comparison in favour on how vile, twisted, malevolent, truly evil, truly horrifying and truly dangerous they are. They were born before the dawn of time, before the beginning of the world and when the universe was born, they are pissed. And when the first life was born, the breed the first sin.
Inspiring the iconography of satanism and all that is evil combined, the Force of Darkness breeds by the existence of evil and unfortunately, they cannot truly be killed. And when evil has done, no matter how petty the evil act is, their taint will come to their world and will slowly plunged the world to an age of darkness.

The darkness is corruption made incarnate and it corrupts anyone and anything into another ugly and horrifying monster or location of the Forces of Darkness. It's habitation is like a corrupted mirror of the real world except that it is dark, dreary, abandoned, cold, dark and filled to the brim with monsters. No human are capable of surviving in that world and those who do become monsters of the dark. You can almost feel that the very world itself are actually alive and for a Pretty Cure herself, it will make them suffer the despair like never before as they will become far worse than even their most horrid of monsters.
