The text message on Jin's phone made him sigh. "Dal, change of plans, take me to the house."
"Understood, Sir," Dal responded and made a U-Turn, doing as Seokjin had requested.
"Close the partition; I need some privacy," Jin said as he dialed a number.
Without a word, Dal closed the partition, giving Jin his desired privacy. As Jin's driver for many years, Dal appreciated when Jin asked him to close the partition. Due to the car being soundproof, he listened to the classical music he loved and talked to his husband. Thus, it was never an issue for him, and he knew Jin would rarely bother him with it closed. Although Jin had never been a bother to him, he had known him for too long to consider him so, but he knew whoever was going to replace him might think otherwise.
In an hour, Dal pulled up to Jin's gate that opened when he arrived there, and he drove up the driveway to Jin's house. When he parked the vehicle in front of it, he stepped out and went to the back passenger door where Jin sat; he gently knocked three times before opening the door.
In stepping to the side, he gives Jin space to get out after he opens the door. Watching Jin struggle to assemble his bags, he did not move to offer any assistance, knowing Jin would request it if he needed it. When Jin had collected his bags, he took his time getting out of the car.
"You can go home." He said while walking towards his house.
"Thank you, Sir. Have a good evening."
"You as well," Jin said as he struggled to type on his phone, his words went unheard by Dal, who couldn't hear his mumbles.

As Jimin drummed his fingers against the kitchen counter and shook his legs, he said, "had I gone out with my friend, I would have eaten by now."
His words were ignored by Jin, who had been preparing their dinner.
"What are you cooking anyway?" Jimin was irritated by Jin's disregard to comment. He hated being ignored, especially by him.
"Food for you to eat."
Jimin rolled his eyes, "obviously, but what kind of food are you making? I can't see from here. Is that shrimp? I don't want shrimp if that's what you are making-"
"Then what do you want, Jimin?" Angry at Jimin's behavior, Jin turned to face him with a spoon in hand. "Do you think I want to be home cooking you dinner?"
"Of course not; when do you ever want to be home doing anything for me?" Jimin got down from his chair, "I am going to ask grandpa to come to get me, I don't want to sleep here tonight, and I am not eating any shrimp."
When a glass slammed to the ground, Jimin jumped in fright, "sit your ass down!" Jin yelled at him. "I am cooking, and you are eating. There is no one you are calling, and you are not going anywhere, either!" His voice rose further as he stared at his son, aggravated by the mention of him wanting to call his father.
"I am not eating anything you are cooking!" Jimin yells back, flipping over the chair he was previously sitting on, and stormed out of the kitchen.
"Jimin, get back here!"
"No!"
Jin drops the spoon and follows Jimin, who has already climbed up the stairs after running down the hall, "you want to be grounded, don't you?" As Jin reached the end of the stairs, he yelled.
At the top of the stairs, Jimin looked at Jin. "Maybe if grandpa and grandma had grounded you at my age, I wouldn't have been born! Keep your distance from me and go ground yourself."
As Jimin turned and stormed toward his room, Jin yelled, "you are going to regret talking to me like this!"
"Like you regret your decision to have me!" Jimin slams the door to his room after yelling back.
Jin took a deep breath and shook his head; he refused to go up the stairs and continue with Jimin.
He returned to the kitchen and picked up the chair Jimin had kicked over after cleaning up the broken glass on the floor. Once he was done, he continued to finish cooking his dinner. Later, he packed the food into containers and left it on the counter so Jimin could eat whenever he wanted.
While he was about to pack the dishes into the dishwasher, his phone rang; looking at it and seeing Hoseok, he answered it.
"Hi, Hobi. What's up?"
"What's up with you? I thought you said you were going to stop by?" Hoseok asked.
Jin sighed, "I had plans to, but you know my brother is now permanently living with me, and he needed my help with something, so I came straight home instead. I was going to text you, though, but I forgot."
"Oh, it's fine, I get it. I didn't get to tell you earlier, but your parents want me to bring Nyla to their house, I guess over the weekend; what do you think?"
As Hoseok spoke, Jin smiled, "that would be great, the drive would be worth it, you should take her there. She will receive lots of gifts from them, but not more than I have given."
Hoseok laughed out loud, "I don't think anyone can measure up to giving her the number of gifts you have given her. Will you be going to your parents this weekend? Maybe we can see each other there?"
Jin thought for a moment, "no, I doubt it. I have some matters to take care of this weekend. However, I can plan a day to visit you again soon-" Jin stopped talking as Jimin entered the kitchen, "Hobi, let me call you back." Without waiting for a response, he hung up the phone.
"Dinner is on the counter-"
"No thanks, I ordered my food," Jimin said as he opened the fridge and took out a soda.
Jin stared at Jimin in disbelief, "seriously, why are you like this?"
"Try looking in the mirror and ask yourself that question."

"Daddy, wake up!" Mia nudged her father as she worried she would be late for school.
Jungkook opened his eyes, surprised to find Mia standing above him dressed in her uniform. Sitting up quickly, he rubbed his eyes, "I overslept, didn't I?"
"No, we will still have time. I took a shower, got dressed, and made myself jelly toast. I made you one too. Would you like me to bring it?"
A smile made its way on Jungkook's face, and he zipped open his sleeping bag as he got up, picking up Mia in his arms as he does, kissing her on the cheek, "why is my baby so precious and caring?"
Mia giggled and returned a kiss to her father's face, "it's because I have the best dad in the whole wide world."
"Is that right?"
Mia shook her head, looking at her dad all happily, she knew her father loved her dearly, and she loved him the most in the entire world.
"I also have the best daughter in the whole wide world." Jungkook told her, giving her cheek another kiss, "let me go get cleaned up and eat so that we can get you to school on time. Do you think you can look for my phone and put it on the charger for me while I do that?"
Before going to bed, Jungkook spent most of the time looking for his phone, but he hadn't found it. He didn't know what he had done with it but figured it must be somewhere around the apartment.
