Having ignored Yoongi's call four times already, Jin once again hit the ignore button on his phone. Having told Yoongi earlier, he had a family emergency to deal with and needed to cancel their plans; he couldn't understand why he was calling his phone down.
"Someone's trying to get in touch with you," Jungkook comments as he finishes the last of his milk.
"Mind your business."
Jungkook nodded but chuckled and waved his empty cup before Jin, "do you mind if I wash this? I see your kitchen is already clean for the night, don't want to leave it-"
"Do what you want, I don't care," Then, without looking at Jungkook, Jin flipped through his phone, searching for towing companies that were still open, confused over how one hadn't shown up yet. However, he had never requested a two-truck in his life and wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for. The first number he called was the sanitation department. Feeling annoyed, he dropped his phone down onto the counter.
Looking up, he sees Jungkook over by his kitchen sink, washing the cup, then he notices Jungkook shaking his head, and almost from behind, the way his shoulders were moving was as though he was laughing. This made him even more annoyed, "is there something funny?"
Hearing Jin's question, Jungkook turned the faucet off and looked around at Jin as he set the clean glass down on the counter, "I just think you are not very careful with your words and your actions, both of which can be very misleading to someone."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
Smiling, Jungkook walks over to Jin, resting his hands on either side of Jin by the kitchen island where Jin sat, he stared into his eyes, ignoring Jin's direct glare, "first the unexpected kiss, and now you are telling me to do what I want. What if I wanted to kiss you again, is that covered under the do what you want clause?"
"Listen, I know I am addicting; that kiss probably meant the world to you-"
"You are very addicting, and a great kisser might I add," Jungkook responded, cutting Jin off.
Jungkook was a very attractive man, a very hot man, their kiss earlier had left Jin wanting more, he knew what Jungkook was yearning for because he too was yearning for the same thing, but he couldn't allow himself to move on what he was feeling, he had done that too often.
"I am going to bed; you can stay down here and wait until the tow truck arrives."
Jungkook pulls back but doesn't say anything as he stares at Jin.
"The car better be fixed by Monday morning because I have to go into an important meeting early, and Jimin has school."
"Don't you worry, I will be here on time."
Jin nodded and turned to leave the kitchen, "don't make a mess of my place, and I hope not to see you here when I wake up tomorrow."
Jungkook chuckled, "somehow, I am thinking you are hoping the opposite."
"Certainly not the case, so get over yourself."
"Want to have dinner with me tomorrow?" Jungkook lets out not being able to help himself.
His question caught Jin off guard, and Jin turned to look at him, "are you seriously asking me on a date?"
"I don't like having missed opportunities, Seokjin, so what do you say? Dinner with me tomorrow at six?"
As he shakes his head, Jin chuckles, "you are funny; good night Jungkook."
******
Jin lay in bed tossing and turning, feeling hot and needy, the earlier kiss with Jungkook still on his mind, and the fact that the man was still at his house was doing him no good.
