Part 6

At the ice cream truck
Atsushi~POV

     (Atsushi) "so what flavor do you want"

     (Aku) "S-strawberry"

Akutawa looks away shyly

'Awwww, he is so cute when he is not trying to kill me that is but I wonder why he is acting this way not like I am complaining thou'

'Wait is it because of what happened to his sister no that is not it but maybe later I will ask"

The ice cream man gave them there ice cream and they sat down at a shaded bench in a secluded part of the park

     (Atsushi) " so do you like it"

     (Aku) " ya thanks"

     (Atsushi) *haha* atsushi laughs under his breath

     (Aku) "What is so funny"

     (Atsushi) "oh just this"

Atsushi wipes off the ice cream that was all over Aku's face

Akutagaw~POV

' DID THAT JUST HAPPEN TALK SBOUT EMBARRASSING'

(Atsushi) "haha"

(Aku) "W-what is s-so funny tiger"

(Atsushi) "oh nothing I just think it is cute when you blush like that"

Aktugawa.exe has stopped working

Before Aku could fall to the ground out of embarrassment Atsushi caught him and his ice-cream setting him back up on the bench leaning against him for support

Atsushi then began to shake his shoulder trying to get a response to make sure he is ok

      (Atsushi) "Ryu Ryu are you ok Ryu"

'Oh no is he ok what just happened what- how- what do I-'

'Oh wait I have idea'

Atsushi then got close to Aktugawa's ear and whispered

     (Atsushi) "Ryu if you don't wake up I'll have no choice but to eat you ice-cream"

At that something clicked and akutagawa woke up from his trance and yelled

     (Aku) *yelling* "DONT TOUCH MY ICE-CREAM"

'Knew that would work the surprising thing is that Ryu has a sweet tooth in the first place'

     (Aku) "Give Me Back My Ice-Cream."

Aktugawa yelled while scowling at Atsushi

To most is would look scary but because Atsushi has seen Aku when he is actually mad to him it looked like the face of a pouting puppy

'Awwwwww'

     (Atsushi) "oh right here I promise I didn't eat any"

     (Aku) *whispering* "no one touches my ice-cream"

'It look like he is feeling better. With is sister being in a coma I was worried he would get to depressed and do something stooped'

'I wish what happened didn't happen but I am glad I got to run into Ryu and that I got to see this side of him'

     (Aku) "what is up got something on your mind you have just been staring at me for ten minutes"

     (Atsushi) "oh nothing nothing"

     (Aku) 😑 "really"

     (Atsushi) " *sigh* ok there is something...
I was worried about how you taking the news about your sister I don't know much just that she passed out and wouldn't wake up"

At this the change in Aku was obviously he was sad about his sister that was clear to see

     (Aku) "she is ok it turns out that she got injected with some kind of enhanced sleeping drug developed by an amateur kidnapping ring nothing lethal but we're not sure how long she will be asleep"

     (Atsushi) "oh"

'So that explains why she just collapsed'

     (Aku) "the mission was successful all the kidnappers were taken care of and kids rescued so The only thing left to do is wait for her to wake up"

Wonce Aku finished speaking Atsushi noticed that Aku had stated to cry and it seems Aku himself hadn't yet noticed

Atsushi pulled Aku In to the biggest hug he could and began to pet his head

Aku, even thought he did not realize it, really needed this and buried his head into Atsushi's chest and silently cried letting all his pent up feelings out.

After about 5 minutes of this Aku went limp and fell asleep in Atsushi's hug.

     (Atsushi) "guess you were more worried about her then you let on"

Atsushi said this to himself as he watched the Ryu's chest slowly rise and fall with his breathing

'When he is asleep he looks so peaceful. And I never thought he could have such a soft side. Seems like behind the rough exterior he is actually really sensitive'

That thought triggered something in Atsushi and there was now a voice in his head saying

'Don't let go. I have to protect him. Don't let anyone else see him like this. Don't let anyone else near him. Don't let anyone else touch him. Don't let anyone else touch what is Mine'

After realizing what he just thought Atsushi blushed severely and told himself

'No Atsushi Ryu is a living being and person of his own he doesn't belong to anyone.'

'But if he did belong to someone...It would be me'

Again atsushi blushed at what he just thought and whent back to simply watching the other sleep soundly

After about 10 minutes Atsushi fell asleep with a curled up Ryu in his lap.
