As they walked hand in hand, Aku couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and contentment. It was as if all the worries and anxieties he had been carrying with him had melted away in Atsushi's presence. The night air felt cool against their skin, but their intertwined fingers provided a comforting warmth.

They walked in comfortable silence for a while, occasionally stealing glances at each other and sharing small smiles

'Is this real am I dreaming? No no I am not dreaming that would be too cruel if I just suddenly woke up!! Ok why am I still freaking out I feel like I have been doing that all day'

'Oh we're almost there.... Wait I just brought him to my house what now?? Do I invite him inside? It's pretty late he could probably stay over.........'

Sure enough Aku's ears had a steady stream of steam coming from them

When they reached the front door, Aku turned to face Atsushi, his heart pounding in his chest. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves.

Aku: "Thank you for walking me home, S-sushi,"

Aku: "Thank you for walking me home, S-sushi,"

Atsushi smiled warmly, his eyes sparkling with affection.

Sushi: "It was my pleasure, Ryu. I'll always be here for you."

'Ok you know what now or never you have survived so far so you know what, Duck it'

Aku leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss against Atsushi's lips.

As their lips met, Aku's heart raced. He couldn't believe he had mustered the courage to kiss him. He just kissed him...

'AHH why did I just do that of shoot shoot shoot where did that come from did I just do that....' 😵‍💫

Their kiss was soft and tender, . Aku's cheeks flushed with a deep shade of red, feeling a mix of embarrassment and exhilaration. He couldn't help but wonder if he had made a fool of himself, but Atsushi's didn't pull away and it placed his hands on Aku's hips to hold him closer.

When they finally pulled away, Aku's gaze dropped to the ground, unable to meet Atsushi's eyes. He felt nervous of course, he just kissed his crush, but he also couldn't help but feel a bit proud to.

'I can't believe I just did that. I can't believe I was CAPABLE of actually doing that. .... Good job me..... oh wait shoot I should have asked shouldn't I oh no'

"I... I'm sorry if that was too forward," Aku stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I just... I couldn't help myself."

Sushi's hand gently cupped Aku's cheek, lifting his face to meet his gaze. His eyes were filled with affection, melting away Aku's worries.

Sushi: "Don't apologize, Ryu, I wanted that kiss just as much as you did. And I want you to know that I feel the same way about you."

Aku's heart skipped a beat at those words, a rush of relief and joy flooding through him. He couldn't believe that Atsushi felt the same way, that their connection was as strong as he had hoped.

A  smile tugged at Aku's lips as he mustered the courage to look into Atsushi's eyes.

Aku: "I... I really like you, Sushi no I love you. More than I can put into words.... And maybe a little more that I can bring myself to say with out passing out from embarrassment" 🫠

Atsushi's smile widened, his eyes sparkling with affection.

Sushi: "I really like you too, Ryu. And I promise to show you just how much every day"
