Scarlett Chilwell spends New Year's Eve apart from boyfriend Lando Norris

Scarlett Chilwell was spotted in pictures last night from her brother Ben Chilwell's New Year's Eve party where lots of his teammates and friends were, while her boyfriend Lando Norris was with his family.

Also at the party was other Formula 1 drivers Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen and Esteban Ocon. 

Scarlett hadn't even slept a wink last night since the party, she couldn't bring herself to close her eyes after what happened last night. She could vaguely hear Mason mumbling something next to her but her eyes stayed fixed on the window in front of them

Last Night...

"Get off of me!" Scarlett squirmed and tried as hard as she could to push the man off of her but her back was against the wall and he was stronger and taller than she was

Scarlett regretted even going to the party, let alone drinking as much as she did but she didn't imagine the New Year's party going like this, in that moment all she wanted was Lando to appear and rescue her

In the back of Scarlett's mind she could hear herself crying and screaming but it didn't feel like she was controlling her actions. As his hands grabbed at her ass she closed her eyes and wanted her life to be over in that moment

But then she could suddenly breathe again, and realised he must have been pulled off her. Her legs buckled under her and she sank to the floor, curling into a ball and burying her face into her knees, not wanting to see the face of Esteban Ocon ever again

She could hear Mason Mount speaking softly to her as he pulled Scarlett to her feet and took her out of the room

Present moment...

Scarlett hastily wiped the tears that had escaped from her eyes and shook her head, desperate not to think about it anymore

"Hey," Mason's voice came from next to her "Scarlett, it's okay. It's over and I promise he won't go near you again okay? You're safe,"

"It doesn't feel like it," She sniffed

"I promise," He said earnestly "But I think you need to go home and see Lando, Alex and George. Because I can't be there every race and they need to know what happened."

"I can't," Scarlett whispered "I can't face Lando,"

"Scarlett," He said and crouched in front of her "Trust me okay? It's all going to be fine,"

"No," She shook her head and just then there was a knock at the door to Mason's apartment so he got up from his position to answer the door while she stayed on the sofa, watching him.

What she hadn't expected to see was her boyfriend standing outside the apartment

"Lando hey-"

"Where's Scarlett?" Lando interrupted Mason's greeting

Scarlett hastily stood up from the sofa and Lando's eyes drifted over to her. He had spent all night worried out of his mind when she didn't come home, he had checked Ben's apartment, Max's and Daniel's hotels, called Jamie Vardy and Tammy Abraham as well but no one knew where she had gone

So he was now checking the one place he was dreading her having ended up. Lando had always tried his hardest not to believe rumours or stories but these stories about his girlfriend and Mason had been getting to his head for a while

And his deepest fear seemed to have come true when he saw Scarlett stood in Mason's apartment wearing a Chelsea hoodie that clearly belonged to Mason and a pair of boxers. Lando glanced at Mason too who was looking at Scarlett with an expectant look, as if waiting for her to say something

"You two..." Lando couldn't even get the words out of his mouth but his fear seemed to correct as Mason and Scarlett shared a look and neither of them spoke

"Lando-"

"I searched all night for you!" Lando suddenly cried at Scarlett "Ben texted me saying you had left so I thought you were on your way home! Then George and Alex called me saying you had never gone home! I searched everywhere for you! While you were here sleeping with him?!"

Scarlett knew the silence that fell over them was going to be her last chance to explain what had really happened last night, but as she opened her mouth the words didn't come out. Instead more tears fell

How could she run back into his arms? She may not have slept with Mason but she felt disgusted by the fact that Esteban's hands had been on her. And the thought of someone else touching her right now made more tears fall down

"I'm sorry," Was all she could let out and the look of hurt on Lando's face broke her heart

He didn't even say a word, instead he slammed the apartment door and they could hear his footsteps thundering down the hallway. 

That was all it took for Scarlett to let out a sob and crumble to the floor in tears.
