"YESSSS! WE FUCKING DID IT! HA HA! FUCK YESSSSS!" Lando screamed into his radio as he crossed the line, he was actually on the podium for the first time in his first race of the year

"Congrats mate! What a day for all of us! You've done it!" Jarv celebrated, Lando followed behind Charles and Valterri and they parked behind their position numbers. He stopped the engine and thought to himself for a minute, knowing his fans, family, friends, team and girlfriend had just watched him win brought tears to his eyes

He pulled himself out of the halo and stepped onto the tarmac, he spotted Scarlett leaning against the wall grinning at him so he slipped off his helmet, balaclava and neck brace and ran towards her

Scarlett met him halfway and jumped into his arms, the adrenaline from the race was still coursing through his veins and he spun her around until he was dizzy. She laughed until he set her back down on his feet and he buried his face into her neck

"I can't believe it," he whimpered

"You did it," she whispered and played with his hair softly "You did it love,"

"Oh my god," he whispered "Thank you,"

"For what?"

"Supporting me, being there with me, I wouldn't be here without you," he said and cupped her face in his hands

"Lando-"

"I love you so much," he leaned down and brushed his nose against hers.

"I love you too," she whispered and pressed her lips against his. Lando was exhausted from the race but he could have stood there kissing her forever, sadly he couldn't because he really did need some water under the scorching heat

He took her hand and they walked back to his stand and drank down most of his water, he put on his mask and hat and Scarlett squeezed his hand before he let go and went to do his interview

"A fantastic race Lando, how are you feeling?" Jenson asked

"I don't know, I'm speechless," he replied "There was a few points in a race when I thought I fudged it up a little, but um I didn't give up and managed to get past Scarlett and ended up on the podium!"

"It was a long but brilliant race for you, you pushed past Chilwell and it was aggressive but had to be done and it obviously worked for you. I'm guessing you might have a message to send to your team and a certain other person over there," Jenson said, nodding at Scarlett subtly

"Yeah sometimes the car was difficult, I seemed to struggle against cars ahead and more vulnerable to the guys behind and I had a really tough 3 laps at the end, it was going downhill but I recovered well," Lando said

"And what about Scarlett?"

"Absolutely, I wouldn't be here without Scarlett, she's done so much for me since I met her, I love her more than my life, getting past her may have been aggressive and she'll have a go at me for that later-"

"I'm not that mean!" Scarlett called over and he laughed

"Kidding," he winked "Scarlett love, you've done so much for me and whenever I race I do it for you so you can think of this as your own one, I love you so much darling, thank you for everything," Across the way Scarlett's eyes were watering and she smiled softly

"Alright I'm going to let you go because both of you look like you're about to cry," Jenson said "congrats again," he nodded and pulled off his mask as he walked over to Scarlett, hugging her tightly
