continuing from last chapter...

while summer was on her way to the hospital she called mya informing them on what happened. summer parked her car running into the hospital going to the receptionist desk.

"h-hey an ambulance shoulda just came in are they here?" summer asked getting out her id

"name?" the receptionist asked popping her gum

summer rolled her eyes telling the woman dejuan's information tapping her foot.

"unfortunately i can't tell you anything else but he is in surgery so just have a sit and wait"

"bit- thank you" summer rolled her eyes again walking out the hospital

she needed to go home and pack a bag so she could stay with dj and she needed to call his mother. summer got back in her car driving off to her house breathing heavy. as bad as she wanted to cry she couldn't her body wouldn't let her so she prayed over snd over again.

"heavenly father please protect that boy lord please cover him father i need him i can't lose him God please please please watch over him and cover him in that operating room in jesus name amen" summer prayed

her and dejuan had been together for three years straight she met him in middle school and they were friends before they started dating. he hated that she started selling and begged her to stop when he found out they're sophomore year. dejuan had been there for summer through thick and thin he loved her for her and never tried changing her m, he took care of her making sure she was okay and was eating whenever she'd forget. he was more than her boyfriend he was is her bestfriend and her first love.

quickly unlocking the door even with her shaky hands she ran upstairs to mira's room opening the door dropping her mouth. she saw mira sitting on jae's lap kissing him.

"what the fuck?!" summer shouted scaring the two

shamira jumped up getting off najae. summer mugged jae then looked at mira shaking her head.

"we gon talk later mira get y'all shit and come on dj got shot" summer said dryly going to her room

in a state of shock and disbelief she packed a bag grabbing her essentials, a pair of pjs, and another change of clothes and shoes then went back out to het car.

"fucking idiot i told you" mira mugged jae as he shrugged

shamira was nervous for what her sister was going to say but she was also scared about dj, after all he was like the big brother she never had he kept summer level headed.

"chill out mira" jae didn't care just like he told mira

he knew there was a chance of them getting caught up and he still didn't care it wasn't like summer could forbid him from seeing her. mira locked the front door getting in the car with jae. summer didn't say anything but looked at the two. mira looked out the window to avoid her sister looking at her she could feel the anger radiating from summer's body. shamira unlocked her phone texting jae.

it had been over two hours since everyone had officially came to the hospital and they still knew nothing about dejuan and the receptionist was being rude and that was pissing summer off even more.

"jae how long you been sneaking around wit shamira?" summer asked she couldn't hold her tongue any longer

"two weeks" jae said nonchalantly

everyone turned to look at the two making mira sigh and sink down in het seat.

"shamira you knew you wasn't supposed to fuck with any of my friends and bully you fucking knew not to fuck with her i told you that!" summer shouted at the two

"it wasn't intentional summer i swear"

"mira please stop talking to me i really don't care right now" summer chuckled dryly

summer got up going back to the front desk again ringing the bell. the lady huffed rolling her eyes looking up from her phone.

"is there any updates on my boyfriend we been here for two hours and you keep saying the same thing" summer tried to say as politely as she could

"look i can't disclose anything about patients and i know it's been two hours we're on the same time so go sit back down and wait for a doctor to come out and inform y'all!"

"bitch i should-" summer punched the lady in the mouth

they got to fighting making dom and moose grab summer.

"rude ass bitch! i should drag your ass by them fucked up ass bangs!" summer yelled getting out of moose's grip

"get the fuck out my hospital!" the receptionist yelled

"family of dejuan fields?" a doctor came into the waiting room

"mr.fields was shot twice once in the leg and in the stomach good news is we got the bullets out of mr.fields and they didn't hit any major arteries or muscles and he's stable. he's up and talking right now but might go to sleep soon from the meds. any questions?"

"can we see him?" dj's mom asked

"of course room 223"

"thank you"

taking the elevator up to his room summer opened the door sitting in the chair beside him. everybody was standing around his bed talking to him.

"wassup wit babygirl and bully?" dj asked noticing how quiet mira was

"they fuck with each other or whatever i caught them in her room kissing" summer told him rolling her eyes

dj started laughing then looked at dom.

"you knew huh?" dj asked him still laughing

"nigga" dom mugged him

"dominic imma fuck you up too" summer mugged him

"aye don't blame me i'm innocent" dom stuck his hands up
