Somewhere in December
Dear diary,
I am just done with my first semester at university, my finals went well and I'm very excited to start next semester. Time flew by, really. I made a few new friends here and we're having loads of fun together. Well, once we're not stressed as hell because school is draining. Other than that, I feel like I'm doing a good job.
In the first few weeks after I said goodbye to Lando, we wrote letters to one another, saying how much we missed each other and scheduling dates when we'd meet again. Those letters became less over time, both of our lives being so hectic. I did meet Lando when he came to the USA for his race, I was a special guest in the paddock back then. However, it didn't give us much time to catch up. We had a fun few days, except I didn't feel like I fitted into his lifestyle at all. We did call a few times after we met but then decided to call things quits, officially. It seemed better if we both moved on and perhaps... if it was really faith, we'd run into one another in the future.
Maybe we could try again, but for now, what we had, ended up being nothing more than just a summer love.
