~ Mattia's POV ~

?? : Mami ?

I stopped cupping Layla's face and turned around to see a little girl standing at the door

?? : Who is that Mami ?

Layla : That's just my friend baby no worries

Layla went over to her and picked her up

?? : Oh well I'm Faith, what's your name

Layla : It doesn't matter baby you should get to sleep

Mattia : My names Mattia

Layla looked down with a tear rolling down her cheek

Faith : *gasp* daddy ?

Layla : You need to go to sleep baby

Faith : No I wanna talk to daddy

She wiggled herself out of Layla's arms and ran to me so I picked her up

Faith : Mami always told me about you. I'm so happy I can finally meet you

She says rapping her arms around my neck, I look at Layla who is still looking at the ground then looked up at me and Faith

Mattia : How old are you ?

Faith : Uh four

Mattia : Well it's late so you should listen to Mami and go to bed

Faith : Ok. Will you be here tomorrow?

Mattia : Yea princess

I put her down and she ran to her room

I looked at Layla who was just in tears. I go up to her and wipe away her tears

Mattia : She's mine isn't she ?

Layla nods her head

Layla : Yea. She's your daughter

I look away trying to hold back my tears,
But I couldn't

Mattia : And you hid her from me ??!

Layla : What was I supposed to do ?! I thought that if I told you, you wouldn't want to stay

Mattia : You're right...

The next morning ...

I woke up next to Mattia with his arms wrapped around my waist. To be honest I don't even know how we got here, but I missed it... I miss him

I just sat there and then Faith came into the room, got on the bed and started jumping

Faith : Wake up Mami and Daddy !!

She says laughing

Mattia groans and kisses my neck

Mattia : We're up princess

Faith : Good morning daddy

She says with a smile on her face making me smile

Mattia : Morning

Layla : Good morning you two

Faith stops jumping and hugs me then Mattia

Faith : Oh and abuela is here making breakfast

Layla : Oh ok well then go eat and I'll be down there in a little

Faith : Okie

Faith gets off the bed and walks out the door

Mattia : I missed this Layla

I just look at him and smile

My eyes widened and felt a sudden rush of regret flow through my body

Mattia : Look... I'm sorry if you thought I hurt you

Layla : No I'm sorry especially for not telling you I was pregnant

Me and Mattia sat there for a couple minutes then went downstairs and ate some pancakes
