~ Layla's POV ~

It's been a week since Mattia found out I was pregnant. He's been visiting me and Faith everyday for the past week. Normally Faith has problems getting used to "new" people, but she's been getting along with Mattia really good ... she's definitely her daddy's daughter

Today I'm going to see Kayla, Mateo and the boys. I can't wait to see the boys because I haven't seen them in years !

Me and Faith got ready and went to their house. I parked my car in the driveway and knocked on the door. Kayla opened it and hugged me and Faith

Kairi : Who is it !

He shouts from the kitchen

Layla : It's mee !

Alejandro and Kairi run up to me and hug me

Alejandro : Since when were you in Jersey ?!

Layla : Since last week. And uh I also have someone I want you guys to meet

Faith comes out from hiding behind me

Alejandro : She's so big now...

Kairi : Wait she's your daughter ?

Layla : Mhm

Kairi : No way .. who's the dad ?

Kayla : Mattia

Alejandro : Wait .. does he know ?

Then Mattia comes downstairs .. with another girl

Mattia : Oh I didn't know we were having company ..

Layla : Uh yea- I wanted Faith to see Mateo

Girl : Who's this ?

She asks with an attitude. I raise one eyebrow

Kayla : My best friend..

Girl : Tell your best friend to make sure her kid doesn't shit all over the floor like a dog

Kayla : Bitch !

Layla : Excuse me ?!

Mattia just stood there

Alejandro : How about you shut the fuck up !

Girl : Mattia will kill you-

The girl rolled her eyes and I looked at Mattia in disbelief. He didn't even stand up for his own daughter. I looked over at Faith who wanted to cry, but stopped herself too. Alejandro picked Faith up

Faith : Is dad cheating on Mami ?

She asked on the verge of crying

Alejandro : No- I-

Layla : Come on Faith let's call abuela

I grabbed Faith and took her upstairs to a guest room

~ Kayla's POV ~

Girl : I'll be back I need to go shopping

Kayla : Make sure to not come back

The girl rolls her eyes at me and walks out the house

Kairi : What the fuck is your problem Mattia ??!

Mattia : What did I do now ?

Kayla : It's what you didn't do !

Alejandro : Your "girlfriend" just called your daughter a dog and you just stood there

Mattia : What was I supposed to say !!?

Alejandro : I can't believe your the father of a very precious kid... if anything I would've been a better dad to Faith then you'll ever be

You could tell Mattia got mad. He goes up to Alejandro and punches him then they start fighting

Layla comes downstairs and pushes Mattia off of Alejandro

Layla : You ok Ale ?

Mattia : So now you're taking his side ??!

Layla : You know what yeah Mattia ! I'm taking his side just like you took your "girlfriends" side over your own DAUGHTERS !

Everyone got quiet and we all looked at Layla speechless. All the years I've known her she's never yelled this loud or showed this much emotion

Layla : I don't think you should see Faith anymore

She says in a soft tone

Mattia : No she's my daughter too

Layla : Yea your daughter that you've only known for a week and already hurt. My daughter shouldn't have to wake me up everyday asking if her dad was coming back home. She shouldn't have to question at her age if she was the reason you weren't ever home. My baby girl is four years old and is hurting.

She was tearing up while talking

Mattia : I-I'm sorry Layla

Layla : It's Laylanie...

She walks upstairs

Kayla : she's real pissed ... she's never told anyone to call her Laylanie

Mattia just walks out to the back

Alejandro : Her and Faith deserve better...
